Her skilled use of light and shadow creates such detail that viewers may think they are looking at a photograph.

We just love Simon Beck's sensational snow art, in which he spends days walking in special snowshoes to create spectacular patterns, and so, we couldn't resist these equally amazing geometric designs in the sand. England-based artist Tony Plant has been creating what he describes as ethereal work for more than twenty years. He interacts with the environment by painting rocks, making tracks through the snow, and dying water, and he then leaves the projects behind to be washed away and erased back into nature.

Graphic designer David Olenick perfectly illustrates the humor of bad decisions, excuses, and basic human behavior. Olenick's designs are cleverly executed with a handy array of puns and a quirky cast of characters. From a tough guy name badge that reads: "HELLO MY NAME IS: keep walking" to the affectionate T-Rex with his outstretched tiny arms saying "I love you THIS much," the artist's sense of humor shines through.

Helsinki-based artist Jirka Väätäinen's Real Life Disney Girls series presents a composite image of what an iconic female character from a Disney animation would look like in real life. Väätäinen's mixed media process involves collecting several images of celebrities and random beautiful women on the internet and digitally assembling them. He blends different features together and even adds his own skillful hand at digital painting to create a realistic portrayal of his chosen cartoon character.

Durban, South-Africa based illustrator Colwyn Thomas creates some of the most beautiful illustrations of childhood we've ever seen. He begins each design as a pencil drawing and then converts it into vector lines. Then, he adds colors in Photoshop, using scanned in textures such as coffee stains or various papers until he achieves his desired result.
