Cats Who Prove Why They Aren't Considered Man's Best Friend

Cats often get a bad rap when it comes to their demeanor, but it's not like the world is just making up all that attitude. Long before Grumpy Cat made a name for herself, these trailblazing kittens gave feline kind a bad name. They may look fuzzy, but these tiny kitties are just kind of jerks. When cats roll on their backs and expose a fluffy, adorable tummy, it seems like they want pet. The truth is that they don't want pet and will punish you if you try.

Cats who can be placed even in small areas

Cats never fail to amaze us with their determination to fit into tight spaces, but the cats in these photos are the best of their best. Although it might look like some of them might not fit – where there’s a will, there’s a way.
We may never be 100% sure just why cats love to cram themselves into small spaces, but it probably has something to do with predation and safety. Cats are stalkers that rely on stealth and cover to hunt their prey. Most house cats have nothing to hunt, but their...

Hilarious Photographs From The First Cat Meme In History

Now you might think our fascination and general obsession with cats first came about with rise of the internet and a certain LOLcats meme, but you’d be more than a little mistaken. The original creator of the cat meme and those funny kitty photos which we all love, was in fact an American photographer called Harry Whittier Frees (1879–1953). He was dressing up & photographing his two felines (Rags & Fluff) long before the rise of animated GIFs and Tumblr streams.

This Man's Daily Act Of Kindness To Cats In Syria Is Truly Incredible

Under the Syrian regime of President Bashar Al-Assad and the brutal attacks by his supporters, residents of a neighborhood in Aleppo, Syria's largest city, have abandoned their homes for safer ground. Among what is probably many important things they were forced to leave behind, many cats now roam the town without anyone to look after them. Except for one man who wouldn't allow them to go forgotten.

Meet ‘Eye-Catching’ Twin Cats Iriss And Abyss

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to these beautiful twin cats, who have mismatched eyes. Named Iriss and Abyss, both sisters have a genetic condition called heterochrmomia, which produces a difference in colouration in both eyes due to a lack of melanin. Pavel Kasianov, from Saint-Petersburg Russia, adopted the crossbred 10-month-old kittens after seeing an advert online.
