It doesn't matter if you use a pencil, a crayon or the tip of your nose to create art. Some artists do well with just a few tools, take for example Bulgarian illustrator Angel Ganev. Although we are sure he could make beautiful art using a variety of tools, he often chooses to create amazing pictures using pencils alone.

As you can see from these pictures, Cristoforo Scorpiniti is an artist who believes that good art should be visible at every time of the day. Far from making traditional glow-in-the-dark pictures however, Cristoforo (otherwise known as Crisco) adds a unique element to his artwork by making them transform with the changing of the light. It’s a simple yet highly effective technique that allows him to get the most out of his canvas.

My name is Lauren Bath and I am a full time instagrammer working full time in the tourism industry. I’ve just flown home after a whirlwind 5 nights photographing Sydney’s annual Vivid festival of lights. The entire city is transformed into a wonderland of light, fun and creativity, even the bars come on board with themed cocktails! It’s so easy to be inspired over Vivid and the photography comes so easy to me every year. I create images because I love to share my passion for travel.

Philippe Echaroux is a French photographer and street artist born in 1983. He invented the concept of Street Art 2.0 with his project, named “Paintings with lights”, and kicked-off in his home city of Marseille in March, 2014. 2 weeks later and his project created the buzz in 44 countries. Philippe’s street art is not leaving any prints on locations he uses to exhibit his art, playing with his favorite tool: light. The beauty of his art is therefore ephemeral.

If your light switches have been looking a little boring lately, may we suggest these decorative switch plates from Green Tree Jewelry. Your light switch still operates as normal, but the physical act of switching sets off a series of gears, levels, toggles and fulcrums that make turning on a light seem suddenly much more complex than simply flicking a switch--which, of course, it is, but not exactly like this.
