30 Times People Shared Their Weirdest Secondhand Finds

Old clutter. Broken junk. Useless odds and ends. Thrift stores are full of these. However, once in a blue moon, people get lucky and find something so fantastic, bedazzling and out of this world that they must share it with everyone they know. The Facebook group ‘Weird Secondhand Finds That Just Need To Be Shared’ is dedicated to secondhand shop fanatics who find metaphorical needles among haystacks of miscellaneous mundane things.

22 Times Optical Illusions Almost Gave People A Heart Attack

Maybe we watched too many horror movies as kids, or maybe it's just an evolutionary advantage to be wary of danger when it isn't necessarily there, but we can all remember that sudden feeling of terror when the shadow of a tree flashes across a window. We have compiled a list of times when people got freaked out by everyday things and while some of them are understandably scary, others are just plain hilarious.

Here’s How Much Money You Need To Buy Different Everyday Items In Venezuela

Crisis-stricken Venezuela is currently in the grip of hyperinflation. For some time there will be a mix of notes in circulation, leading to confusing situations about the true price of items and making transactions a nightmare, particularly for poor Venezuelans who don’t have a bank account. These people have been forced to carry around huge piles of cash to buy even the most basic of household goods.

I Turn Everyday Objects Into Surreal Miniature Worlds

I've spent 2 years to create this project called "Tiny Wasteland". The series features miniature figures placed next to everyday objects so as to create the illusion of microscopic worlds. As a food photographer, I mostly make these on food or with food.

North Korea: 15 Normal Things You Won’t Find In The Hermit Kingdom

As you would expect, North Korea is quite a bit different than the western world. Many of the things we take for granted are banned in North Korea. It’s hard to imagine walking down a street with no cars, losing electricity at any time of the day or getting sent to a labor camp for speaking your mind, but these are realities the North Korean people are faced with. Below are fifteen items we see or experience every day that are virtually nonexistent in NK.

12 Horrifying Things Found Living Inside A Human Body

The fact that strange things can actually live inside the human body sounds like the premise for a number of science fiction movies. Some of these weird stories have also been the inspiration for horror movies, and some are simply seen as urban myths. However, there are real cases of things living in a human body that should never be able to thrive in that environment.

11 Things You’ll Only Remember If You Existed Before The Internet

Don’t you just miss the good old days when there was no Internet? People were more social, there were no Internet bullies or cyber-crimes, and there were fewer sex tapes and no Instagram butt models. Those were the days when kids didn’t spend every waking moment looking at their cell phones. And parties were not all about taking...
