If you are not familiar with Maschinen Krieger (abbreviated as Ma.K) here is a little bit of background. The franchise was started by Kow Yokoyama in the 1980’s. Yokoyama-san was a scratch-build modeller, artist and sculptor. Among his works he built machines of war that would fight in the 29th century, but took their visual cues from early 19th century weaponry and the early NASA space program. All his models were pieced together from numerous kits.

24 may 2019 14:10

Heartbreak is a cruel mistress – it is something we all risk when falling in love, and when we are struck down by it there is little else to do but ride out the pain. For some people, it can be a soul-crushing experience that they never truly recover from. For others, though, it can be the catalyst and motivation for fundamental change, a change that could only have risen from the ashes of a former life set aflame and burned to the ground.

Japanese Sleeper Trains Look Ordinary From Outside But Their Interiors Are A Peaceful Oasis
15 feb 2019 09:55

The 1960s saw great improvement in Japan’s economy, including the railways. The first modern high-speed rail line opened in 1964 and many limited express trains and overnight trains started to cross the nation. After the popularity of Japanese sleeper trains peaked in the 70s, however, the country’s expanding network of bullet trains, domestic air routes, and cheaper night buses have nearly wiped out this way of travel.

Japanese Experiment That Took Half A Century Ended In Amazing Tree ‘Crop Circles’

Crop circles are a staple of the conspiracy theory crowd, with the artistic creations in cereal fields often attributed to UFO landings, or intricate forms of Alien communication. So imagine the excitement some must’ve felt when photos of incredible geometric designs emerged in a forest in Japan recently, not from some squashed wheat, but from large, mature Japanese cedar trees.
