Artist Baku Maeda has mastered the art of sculpting with silky ribbons. The Japanese creative has produced countless ribbon sculptures, mostly mimicking animals found in his native city of Hokkaido, for his ongoing series known as Ribbonesia, simply by "twisting, tying, folding and curling colourful strands of silky ribbon."
