Prince Middle School in Atlanta is America's most recent victim, with police arriving at the scene of a 14 year old boy with a gunshot wound to the head.

CBS News reports, "The wounded boy was taken "alert, conscious and breathing" to Grady Memorial Hospital, said Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos. Atlanta Public Schools said on their website that the suspect also was a student at Price."

The "greatest porn star of all time," Ron Jeremy has been hospitalized for a heart problem. Too many hot chicks? Now recovering from surgery with a respirator and a chest covered in stitches, seems like Ron won't be hitting up the silver screen anytime soon.

If he sees his shadow, we will get six more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow, we will get an early spring. This year Phil failed to see his shadow on this Groundhog Day 2013. According to the Groundhog legend, that means an early spring! On the other hand, according to groundhog.org, Punxsutawney Phil has seen his shadow 100 out of 116 times. That doesn't sound like he landed the correct answer all 116 times...

According to Stormfax.com, Punxsutawney Phil has only been correct approximately 39% of the time. Yeah, so I guess we won't be paying much attention to this guy anymore.

They fall in love, and about a week ago they met in person in Moscow and decided to get married. Lesya got a facial tattoo with the name Rouslan, that looks more like a MS-13 gang tattoo. What will she do if they would decide to break up?

“What happens to lovers while they are sleeping?” photographer Paul Schneggenburger asked as he began his project “The sleep of the beloved.” Using the second room of his two-bedroom Vienna apartment as a studio, he set up black sheets on a mattress, lit by a string of Christmas tree lights. A self-constructed trigger outside the room started the 4×5 camera at midnight for each six-hour exposure and turned it off automatically at 6 a.m., before the sun rose. Schneggenburger, of course, was not in the room during the exposures.

Los Organos is located in the island of La Gomera in the northern coast of Peru, about 15 minutes away from Mancora. These spectacular rock formations are considered to be one of the most beautiful basalt formations on the Canary Islands. The slender cliffs rise up out of the sea to a height of 800 metres and a width of 200m. The pillars look very similar to organ pipes, and hence the name Los Organos. These are the remains of vast lava masses of a once powerful volcano. As the lava cooled down it crystalized into these hexagonal looking pillars. Over time, erosion exposed the rocks, forming them to a natural work of art. Because the cliffs drop steeply into the sea, the only way to see Los Organos in all their might, is by taking a boat tour.

Totally bald and all alone, it's no wonder that this baboon has such a long face. The four foot tall hairless female was found wandering around the African bush by a British housewife in Zimbabwe. While she should be with her sociable troop of baboons out looking for food, this poor animal appears to have no friends.

New York-based photographer and videographer Ben Franke captures the beautiful, acrobatic movement of parkour. The photographer followed New York City free runners, known as tracers, for a few years, documenting their athletic prowess as they freely roamed about the urban streets with a zest for life. Finally, he decided to take his personal project to the next level by producing a collection of dramatically captivating portraits of these athletes for his series titled Parkour Motion.

Canada's Hôtel de Glace, the unique ice hotel, is back this season for its 13th annual reconstruction. The magical castle-like lodge is built each year with a new themed design out of hundred of thousands of tons of ice and snow. We got a glimpse of last year's wondrous icy architecture featuring elaborate carvings inspired by nature, but this year's construct appears to focus far more on the beauty of the wintery season as explored through its "A Journey to the Center of Winter" theme, inspired by Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Inspired by Natsumi Hayashi, the sweet-looking Japanese girl who captured millions of hearts with her lovely levitating self-portraits, graphic designer Halno has taken his own set of whimsical photos. Shared on Instagram, the photos show the Japenese hipster riding his broomstick alongside cars, near airplanes and through beaches and forests.
