Remember The 9-Year-Old Kid Who Kept Getting In Trouble For Doodling In Class?

You all probably remember the incredibly talented 9-year-old Joe from England who kept getting in trouble for drawing in class. We all know how he became recognized all over the world after his art school teacher recognized his talent and he was asked to decorate the dining room of the ‘Number 4’ restaurant in Shrewsbury. We have a wholesome update for you: Joe is still drawing, developing his skills, and he’s just finished his latest project.

Dad Turns His Sons’ Doodles Into Anime Characters, And The Result Is Amazing

Like father, like sons. Thomas Romain is a French anime artist who lives in Tokyo and has found a cool way of bonding with his two boys. When he’s not working on his commercial projects, Thomas spends time on an ongoing family collaboration. It goes like this: his kids come up with different interesting characters and Thomas works his magic to transform them into TV-worthy anime golems, warriors, and other heroes.

Adding Doodles To People’s Instagram Photos

I started a project called #DoodleThisPic, which is focused on drawing on stranger’s instragram photos that I receive online. The photos are quite different, they might be featuring dogs, kids, food or scenery. First I make a rough sketch to lay down my idea on the image, then I make the final outline. Finally, I add colors and shades. I use a mobile and a laptop to produce this artwork. The challenge is to to make these photos funny and more interesting.

I started this project where I add doodles to strangers’ photos on Instagram 2 months ago. I use my galaxy note 3 neo, to be specific. Users give me their photos online and I add a little fun to them by sketching whatever comes to my mind.

New Incredibly Detailed Pen Doodles By Kerby Rosanes

Kerby Rosanes, the doodle master from the Phillipines, is back with new amazingly detailed drawings. While all this started as a hobby for this 23-year-old, it has been his main occupation for some time now. Some of his drawings were made for his clients while others were created just for fun, but all of them will catch your eye.

Professional Illustrator Collaborates With Her 4-Year Old Daughter

Not too long ago, professional illustrator Mica Angela Hendricks could not have imagined sharing her personal art projects with anyone. However, one day, when she bought a new sketchbook, her 4-year old daughter started adding her own contributions. Mica noticed that unrestrained imagination of a child allows her girl to finish the paintings in a way that the artist could never think of herself. Now the mom starts a piece by drawing a face, and the daughter finishes it up with the body she thinks to fit best. Mica never knows how they will turn out – which was tough for a perfectionist at first – but she learned to appreciate it:
