I Recreated Every Marvel Poster With Regular Objects

My name Nguyen Quang Huy (Coi Xuong) and I'm an artist from Vietnam. 4 years ago, I created a series of doodles with Marvel Cinematic Universe theme from everyday objects and posted it. I was really honored that my recreation received such positive feedback then. This year in order to commemorate the release of MCU's Phase III last movie, I started a small project to recreate every MCU's poster from 2008 till 'Endgame' in the same drawing style

Here’s What Would Happen If Superheroes Had Babies

Brazil-based artist Lucas Eduardo Nascimento drew a series of badass, yet adorable babies of superheroes and their first meetings with their fathers in the maternity ward. With the uncanny resemblance for all to see, these superbabies are already making their dads proud and our hearts melt.

Superhero cinema has become one of the most popular and successful genres out there, steadily growing since the 2008 release of Iron Man. Marvel have done a great job bringing characters to the big screen, but some adjustments were made to make them appear more ‘realistic.’ But what if Marvel had stayed faithful to the original versions? What would the characters have looked like?

Superhero Bookshelves By Turkish Artist Burak Doğan

Despite what you’ve been led to believe, you don’t need a cape to be a superhero. Nor do you need superpowers (although they do come in useful). All you need is a superhero bookshelf, and Burak Doğan can help you with that. The industrial designer from Turkey has created these awesomely alternative bookshelves that will turn your boring living room into nothing short of a superhero lair.

Super Shadows: I Explore The Power Of A Child’s Imagination

A few years back, I started an illustration series titled “Walking Shadows.” It received a fair amount of attention and seemed to connect with people on a very personal level. One entry resonated with viewers more than any other in the series.

Artist Shows How Superheroes Will Look When They Retire

Eddie Liu, an artist based in Shanghai, has created a short but wonderful series that imagines what a few of our favorite superheroes might look like when they grow old. In Liu’s interpretation, they’ve lost some of their youthful sheen but retain all of their heroic majesty.

12 Ridiculous Superheroes We Hope Never See The Big Screen

It seems these days you can’t go into a theatre or watch TV without seeing an ad for the next superhero movie. However, with all the hype around superheros doing their thing on screen, it would have been easy for Hollywood to test out a few heroes that never quite made it to the spotlight – or at least not for very long. Thankfully, the lesser known heroes they have chosen are worth watching for at least an hour and a half, unlike every hero on this list. Straight up, if any of these made it...

Cyborg Superman / White Queen

Argenis Pinal, a makeup artist based in Temecula, California, doesn’t need a costume to look like a superhero – he uses his fantastic makeup and body paint skills to change his entire appearance. With the right lines and colors, he can become a zombie Wolverine, cyborg Superman, or any one of hundreds of other cool remixed superheroes that he loves to paint on himself.

I Watercolor Superheroes With Big Splashes

Sometimes, you need to kick yourself in the butt. That was true for me at least, being the panda that I am. That’s why, some two years ago, I challenged myself to paint a new picture every day, and share it with the world for free. Challenge accepted! Today, I have published more than 500 paintings, my very own way of spreading happiness, with big splashes of color and happy shapes.

Superhero Bookends That Save Books From Falling Down

Created by the imaginative folks at Israeli design studio, Artori Design, are the Book And The Hero, and Supershelf – a pair of bookends that make it appear the books they’re holding are being saved by a small, yet incredibly strong superhero. The illusion is created by the use of strong magnets, and feature a mini magnetized superhero.

Superheroes’ Part-Time Jobs

Besides saving the world, they are just like us, they need money for living, food, drink, daily needs. I think the most expensive things are their beautiful costumes. Unfortunately, they don’t get payed for saving the world. With their very unique ability, they definitely can get a part-time job for their living.

There are people whose obsessions with pop culture icons like Darth Vader, Frankenstein or Master Chief seem like religious infatuation, so New Jersey-based 3d printing artist Chris Milnes did away with the formalities by creating a series of 3d-printed Buddha statues. Now, fanboys and fangirls around the world will be able to pray night and day to their favorite heroes and villains.

Superhero Jewelry

This is a collection of Superhero Jewelry sold over at Etsy shop WhatsYourPassion. What’s my passion? Thanks for asking. I’ll tell you: Pizza. Plus beer. The shop’s got rings inspired by Batman, Spiderman, Green Lantern, and more! So many more. Okay, actually just like two or three more. If that. But who cares? It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality. Quality and also, finding someone who will buy this stuff for you. Because I sure as hell can’t afford it myself! I’d have to cut back on my pizza and beer intake and that is just not an option. Don’t ask me to sacrifice my passion — what are you, some kind of monster?
