We Took Funny Animal Mugshots, Whilst Traveling Around The World

A grinning Alpaca: taken in Salzburg, Austria

14 months ago we quit our jobs, sold everything we had, and we’ve been travelling around the world ever since. We’ve been to 31 countries so far, and have come into contact with some very friendly animals along the way. Our love of photography urged us to try and take some candid snaps of every animal we met. The look we wanted was a close-up mugshot, so we used ultra-wide angle lenses and got really close to our subjects in order to get the shots.

Lamps and Vases Made From Discarded Meat That I Found In Supermarkets

Every year tons of food are being thrown away by supermarkets, because the food expires before it is being sold. For this project Isaac Monté re-uses expired meat from supermarkets. By taking the material out of its context and reframing it he wants to create awareness around issues of waste in relation to meat production, distribution and consumption, and to show the urgency of change in those practices.

13 Craziest Things Johnny Depp Has Done For Roles

One of the most beloved actors of all time, Johnny Depp has a knack for playing some very weird characters. Taking his acting into consistently unpredictable directions, it should be absolutely no surprise that Depp has done some crazy things in order to prepare for roles. While he might not be as boundary pushing as some of his peers (we’re looking at you Christian Bale) Depp is unafraid to take some pretty big risks in his acting.

Each block can be used like a toy by blind and sighted children alike, although for the benefit of the blind children, each block features one Braille letter. So far, the São Paulo based organisation has only manufactured enough bricks for 300 students, but through the Creative Commons, they hope more will be made.

Photographer Dresses Nude Women In Light And Shadows

There’s only so much that can be done to a nude body if you want to take a nude photo, but Paris-based photographer Dani Olivier has figured it out. Often employing dancers as models, he uses projectors in a darkened studio to bathe women in coloured light and geometric shadows, transforming their bodies into surreal works of art.

I had gotten Betsy about a week before my mom passed. She was my best friend, and losing her was one of the hardest things I have had to deal with in life

Jenn Eckert had gotten Betsy about a week before her mom passed-less than two months before her wedding. It felt like her whole life was crumbling. The only reason she would get up in the morning was because she knew she couldn’t let this six month old baby bunny starve. Betsy felt her anguish, and would hop up on the couch and lay next to Jenn. She wouldn’t leave her side and it was in her Jenn found the strength to begin to heal.

10 Of The Most Shocking Cases Of Voyeurism

The days of James Stewart spying on his neighbors out a rear window with a pair of binoculars are over. Modern voyeurism is high-tech; the cameras and zoom lenses are secret, hidden and camouflaged in pens and other gadgetry, and more like tools of the Cold War than tools used to titillate. Criminal voyeurs, however, take it to a deviant extreme and then attempt to justify their immoral behavior by reasoning.
