Let this classroom prank be a lesson to all professors about the merits of punctuality. Coordinated by the Chamber Boys, who apparently have a radio show on the University of Rochester station, this prank effectively crushed the dreams of several medical school hopefuls. A student claimed to be a teacher and stood in front of an entire lecture hall of students, then detailed the myriad ways in which they would probably fail. This went on for about three minutes, at which point the actual professor waltzed in and began demanding answers. The only response he got was the merry prankster sprinting out of the classroom. Brilliant work.

Check out this somewhat disturbing series of movie posters for several classic Disney films if they had been written by Quentin Tarantino and starred Samuel L. Jackson. Even though I grew up watching these movies, and I thing they're great, this direction is so much more interesting, and would prove to be crazy entertaining. Thanks to Buzzfeed!

This is a little tricky to wrap your brain around — Jason Alexander teaching Larry David how to play George Costanza. It’s the actor who played George Costanza on ‘Seinfeld’ teaching the creator of Costanza how to play Costanza while filming the ‘Seinfeld’ reunion on an episode of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ even though Costanza is his alter-ego. Basically it’s just a lot of Larry David shouting. You *like* Larry David shouting, remember?

magine coming in for a job interview, bright and ready to prove yourself and earn a living, when things take a turn for the worst and a meteor destroys your city. Bummer. While we do hope that no such thing happens anywhere any time soon, an advertisement stunt set up by LG in Chile has shown just how funny it can be when the people coming for an interview have no idea that the meteor they are seeing outside is actually a fake. The job applicants all sit down for an interview in an office where LG‘s new HDTV is set up to look like a window out onto the city. Hidden cameras capture their reactions as a meteor slowly enters the “window’s” field of view and impacts the city’s center. When the interviewees panic, the interviewer runs out of the room, leaving the applicants to scramble about in the dark while they are observed with night-vision cameras. Although some suspect the interviewees of being actors, it’s still an interesting way of marketing one’s product. What do you think? Is it a fun prank, or distasteful terrorization?

Please enjoy (or at least stare confusedly at) this music video, “The Fox”, from the Norwegian talk show I kveld med YLVIS. It answers the question, “What would happen if you made a schmaltzy pop song with high production values then devolved into silly animal sounds?” Nobody asked the question, but they answered it anyway. Sketch group Ylvis is the brothers Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker, who have been making surreal and funny stuff like this for the past 13 years. (Sidenote: “Bård Ylvisåker” is the Norwegianist name that’s ever Norwegianed.) Once in a while, something they make starts going viral outside Norway, like their “voice controlled elevator” pranks. This absurd video seems poised to be a crossover hit. The top YouTube comment is, “Play this at my funeral” and we’re inclined to agree.

Bill Hader sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night and pretty much never got up, doing an extended interview and then playing sidekick during a Richard Simmons visit. It was all great and if you’re the Hader fans we are you should watch every second. There’s getting stranded in Martha’s Vineyard at Seth Meyers’s wedding, people having sex during He Got Game, and geeking out on famous directors during “Laser Cats.” But most importantly and hilariously of all there’s Hader describing the scene at James Franco’s Comedy Central Roast and how he goes way back with James. That starts at the 1:45 mark above in Part 3 of the interview but gets top billing because it’s perfect.

Playing off the First-world Problem meme, Twitter account Middle Class Problem retweets people who are perhaps a bit too disappointed with the little troubles in their lives. Here are some examples paired with photos that really bring out the depths of the sorrow and anguish just under the surface as these poor folks express their grievances…

Belgrade, Serbia artist Milos “Sholim” Rajkovic has created a surreal collection of animated GIFs showcasing faceless people with moving mechanical parts packed into their heads. In an interview with The Daily Dot, Milos shared that the models he used his GIFs were “politicians, corporate people, or just pretty faces from the commercials that we watched for hundreds of times during a day and who have no identity and personality.”

To celebrate David Letterman‘s 20th anniversary of working on CBS, Bill Murray showed up and made quite a spectacle. For his entrance, he chose to channel Liberace. Then, he chose to channel Whitney Houston in a rather…spirited performance of ‘I Will Always Love You.’ Thank goodness for YouTube, so we can watch these without paying a cable company.

After a few weeks of teasing, the latest Borderlands 2 animated short is here! It follows Brick from the first game and everyone’s favorite homicidal pre-teen girl, Tiny Tina. This short is a prologue to the downloadable adventure,Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, which is Tiny Tina playing Bunkers and Badasses (a play on Dungeons and Dragons) with the players. In short, it is hilarious.

The only question this woman wants to say “I do” to is “Do you want to beat up your boyfriend?” This video captures the latest in a long line of marriage proposals gone awry. For starters, it’s in a mall (where the couple met) and, unless you’re Tiffany and it’s 1986, no woman will be touched by the gesture. Second, there are way too many people (including a cheesy band and a woman mopping behind him) on hand. And, third, a train comes trolling by in the middle of it, making an awkward situation even more so. By the time Romeo here gets on bended knee, the girlfriend — who, based on her actions, may not be his girlfriend anymore – has clearly had enough. The jury is still out whether this was staged or not, but who cares? It’s funny. In either case, we win just by watching.

This is a collection of adorable panties with animal faces on the bum bum plus some BONUS ear flaps. The cutesy drawls come from Etsy shop Knickerocker and pairs start at $35 and go up from there. They’ve even got little crop tops to match each panty. Cuuute. I want the one that looks like a bear. You know, so I can still be bear assed. Then, I can be all “Hey which one of y’all wants to see my BEAR ASS?” and they’ll all think I mean “bare ass” and say “Dear God no! Take all my money, but please don’t show me your bare ass!” Man, it’ll be really funny. Sure, this whole situation is only going to end with my feelings getting hurt, but I guess I kind of asked for it.

If you are like most of the population in America, then you probably have to get your water heater fixed every once in a while. And like other people in America, you probably are home when strange people come into your house to do some repairs. Well, turns out that some people go the extra mile to make gas men... feel special I suppose? I don't even know to be honest. Here, just, take a look at this:

If Miley Cyrus’ performance at the VMA has turned you off of twerking, or if you just find cartoon butts bouncing around hilarious, this is for you. Or, you could look at it this way — we went through the trouble of parsing through all the twerking GIFs and selecting only the ones that don’t require a NSFW tag. Frankly, it doesn’t matter how you look at it, as long as you look at it, because cartoon butts bouncing up and down ARE hilarious. End of story.

As far as pranks go, this one is a tyrannosaurus-sized success. In this Japanese video, a man is heading into his office for what appears to be another ho-hum day when, all of the sudden, he sees his co-workers fleeing from what looks like a dinosaur. The frightened man tries to hightail it out of there, not realizing the dinosaur is actually a puppet (note the human feet commandeering the costume). It’s hilarious and kind of makes us wish the countless hidden camera pranks on YouTube make a dedicated effort to up their game. C’mon, USA!

Miley Cyrus is apparently ratchet now, and her attempts at twerking seem to suggest she is really trying to mean it. As we sit back and watch her try to ingratiate herself with the hip-hop community, let’s take a moment to think about what could’ve been if Miley had been around during the ’90s and early ’00s and discovered rap when some classic albums were released. Here are some beloved hip-hop albums with Miley on the cover courtesy of TheDrop.fm. As unfortunate as her VMA performance was, it could be way, way worse.

This, as far as I can tell, is a music video for a song named “Dreams Are Real” made by guy named Ryan Barger. I feel safe in saying that it’s probably the most internet thing you will see today. Here’s how it’s described on YouTube… Time travel. Space Exploration. Violence. Drama. Love. Cats. Dreams. Enjoy.

PBS was pretty slow to embrace the Internet, but in the last few years they’ve really gone full out. They’ve remixed Mr. Rogers, they’ve been doing some pretty compelling short documentaries about all sorts of topics. And their first dedicated webseries about video games, Game/Show, is… really interesting, actually. First of all, it’s hosted by James Warren of Kill Screen, who’s probably one of the better games journalists out there at the moment. Secondly, it makes a pretty compelling case that long after everybody reading this is dust, we’ll still be playing Mario games:

Ever wanted to see a sci-fi short film written and performed by drunk people? Well, that’s probably half of all films, but Star Drunk did it intentionally. Of course this happened in Portland. Star Drunk is an experiment in writing a short film while drunk; several writers from Portland got together one night to write the script. We promised each other that whatever we wrote that night, we’d produce as a short film. We ended up creating a Star Trek-Star Wars-Battlestar Galactica’esque parody with laser gun fights and space battles. Taking the concept a step further (and stranger), we asked our cast to be drunk on the night of filming. [ChrisRWilsonFilm] Those actors include Greg James, Adam Elliot Davis, Kyle Smith, Britt Harris, Alexander Fraser, and Bethany Jacobs (pictured above) doing an impression of Carol Marcus from Star Trek Into Darkness.

A short film called ‘Star Drunk’ answers a question you didn’t know you had: what would a movie look like if it was written by drunk people, directed by a drunk person and starred only drunk actors? Sorry, ‘Sharknado.’ You no longer hold the title for the most ridiculous movie to come out in 2013. The answer can be found in this sci-fi action flick, which actually comes out better than you think, thanks to some slick production and a cast that, while blitzed, is not fall-down-on-your-face-after-a-night-cruising-the-frat-houses wasted. One of the film’s stars even took to Reddit to dispel any talk the cast really wasn’t loaded: A big question being asked repeatedly and understandably is: were all the actors REALLY drunk? The answer is a big YES! In fact, I personally got so wasted due to not timing my drinking correctly to when I was supposed to deliver, that I actually passed out and had to do it all over again (yes, get drunk all over again) a couple days later.” Ahh, only in America can you go online to prove you were indeed inebriated while doing your job. What a country! As for what the cast of ‘Sharknado’ was on when they agreed to make that cult classic, well, that’s under wraps.

Listen we’re not experts on science, but this seems like a pretty sound methodology. Get somebody really drunk and give them tests. Then get the same person really high and give them the same tasks. Compare the two results and decide which is better — alcohol or marijuana. SCIENCE! Buzzfeed wanted to be clear that the marijuana consumed in this video was done so legally in the state of California. So, cool your jets, Ranger Rick.
