Meet Lizzie Mae. Lizzie Mae is the personal housemaid to President and Lady Washington — or, what is more commonly known as a slave. Actually, Lizzie Mae is actress Azie Mira Dungey, a former "living history character" at George Washington's Virginia plantation, Mount Vernon. In Ask A Slave, a new comedy web series directed by Jordan Black, Dungey finally gets to answer some of the more asinine questions asked by estate visitors over the years. Check out Episode 1 and 2!!
Lady Gaga will reportedly appear on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ for the third time come this fall, but unlike her past appearances, Mother Monster will be acting as both the host and the musical guest during an episode of the long-running comedy program. This will put Gaga in the same ranks as Justin Timberlake who recently did double duty on the show in one of the better episodes, as well as Justin Bieber, who was reportedly a good sport. A rep for NBC refused to comment on the reported lineup. Gaga has previously acted in small sketches on the show, including a digital short with Timberlake and Andy Samberg and a face off with Madonna as herself. She will also make her acting debut on the big screen next month in the purposeful B-movie ‘Machete Kills.’ She’s not going into this completely blind. Basically, the 39th season of the sketch comedy show is in for an interesting year. Even more so if Lindsay Lohan says yes to hosting for her sixth time.
Not long ago, Mark Wahlberg said that he would be interested in taking over Iron Man when Robert Downey Jr. is done with it. Official Comedy created this funny short that gives us a look at what Iron Man might be like if it was set in Boston and starred Wahlberg. The guy they got to play the actor may not really look like him, but he's definitely got the vocal impression down. The short features Tony Stark battling The Mandarin and Obadiah Stane while trying to save Pepper and Fenway Park. It's pretty entertaining, and I hope you enjoy it!
The steampunk look is so cool, but it seems like it would be an expensive scene to get in to. Especially with those amazingly detailed costumes and gear. Etsy user Captain Bayley has created a couple of radical steampunk helmets for Iron Man and Optimus Prime. I love how they turned out!
