I Went To Bangkok Just To Try This 70+ Year Old Chef’s Street Food Which Received A Michelin Star
Gingerina
08 aug 2018 09:26

I went to Bangkok for one reason. To eat at Jai Fai. She has been featured on various TV shows and YouTube channels. I think why it was so important to me to go was because she seemed to have retained her street food simplicity. She is one of only two Michelin star recipients that sell street food in Thailand. She doesn’t care for it much and doesn’t even display it in her restaurant. However, the food is that good. She deserves that star.

There is a mystical quality about snow and ice, which is perhaps is what makes Iceland such a captivating location. New York City based photographer and filmmaker Drew Doggett, managed to capture a sliver of this magic in his new photo series ‘In the Realm of Legends,’ documenting the wild horses that rove the island.

A few weeks ago I shot all of these photos during this magical morning; a morning I will never forget. On this particular morning thick fog covered the area of the famous windmill village Zaanse Schans in the Netherlands. I was lucky to be there around 5 AM in the morning and take these photos. It was like I was walking in a fairytale.

When we talk about Instagram followers, we don't mean it in the literal sense. Well, not usually anyway. But as Instagram-famous travel photographers Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen have recently discovered, two of their collective 2 million plus followers are quite literally chasing them around the world and recreating their poses wherever they go.

Over a year ago, I posted the “If I lay here” project. Since then I had the opportunity to travel to the places I always dreamed of. Inspired by Snow Patrol’s song “Chasing cars” I began to take self-portraits lying in different places around the world. Sometimes it’s illegal, sometimes people gather around wondering what on earth I am doing, but it’s fun.

This Guy Battles Depression By Travelling

Depression is a real psychological condition that, for many, can be completely debilitating. One photographer – Michael Loffer – fights his depression in part by traveling around the world and taking beautiful photos. he insisted that he had managed his wonderful trips through thrift – by couch-surfing, hitch-hiking, not partying and living cheap – both at home and abroad. And, unlike most photographers, who use high-quality SLR cameras, he shoots with a $300 Nikon AW 100.

You’re probably familiar with the phrase “One man’s trash is another man’s gold” and there’s few better examples of that than the work of visual artist Francisco de Pajaro. Much like Clet Abraham who has fun hijacking Europe’s street signs, Francisco likes to bring a bit of life, vitality and humour to our sterile urban environments. In a recently interview with James Buxton of Global Street Art he stated that:
