What we gleaned from this video is that we never want roommates… ever… at all… because they are terrible people. Having said that, we have no qualms whatsoever about watching other people have roommates, especially when they’re being woken up in the worst way possible.
Uploaded online last week, this prank video has garnered nearly 8 million hits, many of which were probably re-watches due to it’s addicting qualities. Whether that’s a result of the mouse traps, the ice buckets, the wasbi, the car horns or the fact that we’re thankful we don’t know any of these people, we aren’t sure, but a replay is an absolute must.
In the end, so as long as there exists a barrier between us and these cruel impish pranksters (i.e. YouTube) we look forward to the next one!

Painter & avid DeviantArt user ”wytrab8“ (aka White Rabbit – real name: Hillary Smith) certainly knows her art history.
Using scenes and inspiration from the likes of Hieronymus Bosch & Giovanni Francesco Caroto, Kermit The Frog, Batman, Spiderman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, He-Man, Boba-Fet, R2-D2 and even villans like Skeletor and The Count (can a Muppet really be a villan though?) are all lovingly reimagined and set against a backdrop of famous & legendary scenes throughout history.
She’s called the series Pop Reinterpretation, it’s wonderfully funny, a little cheeky and certainly devious. Below are just a few selections from her art which we love – but you can experience the full range of her talent via her DeviantArt portfolio.
Until then, see how many references you can spot!

Some of these foods will be obvious while others may shock you. These dishes might seem like OK items to eat while dieting but they are not. Avoid these foods as much as possible to keep up a good diet and to get healthy.

As it turns out, every song known to man kind sounds better when remixed with screaming goats in the background. That being said, if music sounds better with screaming goats, then it only makes sense that movies both look AND sound better with screaming goats! So in honor of this awesome trend, I went and found a bunch of Movie posters redone to fit the screaming goat craze.
Have fun!

Eastern Europe is certainly one of the stranger parts of the world. They have politicians with full body-tattoos, prisoners who have their own language in the form of symbols & codes and leaders who apparently excel at everything.
So it’s no surprise that when it comes to Russia (the biggest country within that European block) that they should be home to some of the most colourful, odd and downright weird characters in the whole of Europe itself.
Below are a few public snapshots taken from popular Russian social networking sites, which give you a little bit of an insight as to the type of individuals you can expect to meet on your travels…
Are you booking those flights yet?

Brazilian local artist Eduardo Kobra, has really raised the bar with his majestic tribute to Brazilian architect and innovator Oscar Niemeyer who sadly died at 104.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest architects of his generation (he was known in the industry as ‘a sculptor of monuments’) he was the architect behind Palácio da Alvorada, Cathedral of Brasília, National Congress of Brazil & Niterói Contemporary Art Museum to name a few. Outside of his homeland, he even played a significant role in designing the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
Aside from his buildings, his legacy has now taken a different form thanks for Kobra. His vibrant and modern mural of Oscar, towers 52 meters into the air, running along the side of skyscraper situtated in Paulista Avenue (one of Sao Paulo’s most compact and dense streets.). As you’re about to see from the photos, it’s gigantic and stands 16 meter wide. Due to its scale Korba has to enlist the help of 4 people into his team to finish the project off in time. the shapes and fragements of the portraits were inspired by Niemeyer’s very own architecutral style. It’s an innovative & visually stunning tribute to a man who was reknowned for exactly both those qualities.

The majority of the photographs you see of celebrities are the stock standard type, designed for magazine covers or the entertainment section in your local newspaper. Few are truly captured in a unique or original way (unless you’re someone like this or this), but that’s not the case when it comes to the works of Italian photographer Maurizio Galimberti.
Photographing celebrities such as George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Benicio Del Toro, Catherine Zeta-Jones & Sting for his new series ‘Celebrity Works’ – he reinvents and rejuvinates their image into something new and beautifully personal.

As a kid excitedly sitting down to watch your favourite weekend cartoons, you’re completely unaware of all the adult metaphors and subtle jokes that are sneakily inserted into the scripts. But when you look back on those cartoons as an adult, there are some hilariously cheeky and sexually suggestive moments to be enjoyed.
Was it by accident or did the illustrators and script writers known what they were doing? Was it a series of tongue in cheek jokes to keep themselves entertained or perhaps just an unfortunate perspective? Maybe it’s taken out of context all together?
You decide as we look at 9 images from some popular cartoons that are sure to raise a few eyebrows!

So full disclosure before we begin, we’ve tried less than 25% of these rather interesting beverages, so we can’t tell you whether they taste like nectar from the Gods or cheap methylated spirit BUT one thing we do know, is that they all have some pretty impressive designs and labels going on.
You might not have heard of many of these niche / limited release beers but you can’t deny they all certainly look worth buying a bottle or two and giving them a taste don’t they? Many of them are manufactured in the United States as well as some from Canada, so if you live outside of those countries you might have to go to your local importer and see if they have samples floating around. Underneath each design we’ve included links to the brewing companies themselves – so if you’re feeling a burning desire to try some of them out, at least you have a starting point.
We found it pretty hard to choose our favourite illustration / logo, although the consensus in the office is that everyone wanted to try ‘Winter Beard’ because lets face it, how wrong can you go with a combination of double chocolate and cranberry?
Leave a comment below and let us know which you’d like to sample or better yet, if you’ve been lucky enough to crack open one of them – tell us what you thought? We’d love to know!

I say it is the best job in the NFL. The NFL punter has little pressure to make the game winning kick. There job is to pin the other team back when needed and the less you see a punter on the field the better your team is playing. With that being said lets take a look at which teams have the best Punters in the game today.

It is impossible to say who the first people were with stretched ears, or why they did it. Today, many cultures (including our own!) practice the art of ear stretching for many different reasons. Religion, coming of age ceremonies, warding off evil, sexual enhancement and physical beauty are common motivations. However, that just barely scratches the surface as there are many other reasons, as well. People all over the world still practice ear stretching. From the Masai tribes in Kenya to the Huaorani tribe in the Amazon Basin, stretched ears are still a common sight. It is a fascinating testament of human culture that a Western youth can walk into a piercing shop to select stretched ear jewelry while a Hmong youth in Thailand selects from an array of silver tubes.

Fangweng Restaurant is located in China, in Hubei Province, about 12km north of the city of Yichang, near Sanyou Cave, or “The Cave of the Three Travelers”. The restaurant is in the Happy Valley of the Xiling Gorge, an especially scenic stretch of cliffs, caves and park land located around the area where the Chang Jiang River flows into the Yangtze. The entrance to the Fangweng Restaurant is an uninspiring grey brick building, but at the far end of a narrow concrete bridge, the restaurant caves into the cliff, the floor hanging several hundred feet above the ground. From this end, customers can view the flowing water of Yangtze River. For the daredevils, a bungee jumping platform is nearby.

All artist Rik Reimert needs to create these detailed illustrations is some paper and some ink. The rest is a series of lines and hashmarks that Reimert builds, from light to dark, with Rotring Rapidographs—a variety of technical writing devices that provide consistent ink flow. The artist begins with pencil and then fills in the lines with his pens that vary in thickness from 0.2 to 0.8mm tips.

Hard to believe but it's been almost four years since we first wrote about Olivia Bee. We probably could have guessed that the then 15-year-old teenager was just starting her career. At 19-years-old she's not just an adult now, by many standards, Bee's a full-fledged professional. Throughout the past four years, Bee has shot assignments for the New York Times and VICE as well as campaigns for high-end fashion brand Hermès, Levi's, and Nike.

We have already seen wonderful sculptures that can be made out of a single sheet of paper, but you probably didn’t know that it’s also possible to draw amazing pictures without using paint or any tools other than hands for paper folding.
At first sight, these very detailed pictures, which sell for up to £3,800, seem to have been drawn with pencil but only when you notice that Simon’s gallery web address ends with “papierarbeiten.html” you understand how amazing his works really are.
A German artist named Simon Schubert (born 1976) has spent two years perfecting the art of folding paper, and now it takes him up to a week to create each of his elaborate masterpieces.
“The first attempt was not really so successful, took quite a white to get the technique perfect” - says Simon. The funny part is that he often had to convince people his pictures are not painted.
“Most of the people who see the work are surprised that the pictures are created by folding paper, they don’t believe it when I tell them. Many of them think I’ve used paint or pencil to create the affect of light and shade. But when they realize the pictures are actually folded they are quite impressed.”

Let’s meet another super creative artist - Ben Matthews (actually, he’s a dentist!), and see what happens when you skate at night with some lights on.
The technique he uses is called light painting, also known as light drawing or light graffiti. It is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source or by moving the camera. In many cases the light source itself does not have to appear in the image. The term light painting also encompasses images lit from outside the frame with hand-held light sources. The first known photographer to use this technique was Man Ray in his series “Space Writing”.

18-year-old photographer Christian Benetel first became interested in photography at the young age of 14, when he noticed his sister posting her photos on Flickr. After seeing incredible photos of the people she followed, he was inspired to pick up his parent's digital camera to see what he could do. Fast forward four years later and Benetel is now part of an elite group of talented teenage photographers who have an obvious knack for visual storytelling.
