Japan is wonderfully varied, peculiar and truly entertaining culture, it’s a place where nothing really has to make sense and where things rarely do. But they are probably best known for their eccentric & fascinating inventions. More often that not, they are completely useless. Hera are some of them.

For Herbert Chavez it goes beyond wearing the red boots, ‘S’ symbol and cape. He’s gone to dramatic lengths, undergoing cosmetic surgery to shape his lips, cheeks, nose, chin, thighs and even his skin colour. It’s not some flippant obsession either, over the past decade Chavez has been transforming himself to being less Herbert, more Clarke.
“Walk of Punishment” was Game of Thrones at its near best. There was violence! Tyrion acting all quippy! An archer who couldn’t hit his target of a dead man floating down a river! A Hold Steady song! A new location! A fairly humanizing moment for Talisa! Boobs! An entire scene about how big Pod’s dick is! A loaf of bread in the shape of a direwolf! Arya acting too big for britches! Mance declaring war! Melisandre on the hunt for blood! A bunch of horse heads laid out in the pattern of hurricane clip art in the snow! Power moves courtesy of Cersei and Tyrion in front of their forever disapproving father! Daenerys buying thousands and thousands of slaves! Lord Twat Beard! If you didn’t like “Walk of Punishment,” you don’t like awesome things. Now onto the GIF recap.

One of those joys of childhood was eating a popsicle and trying to figure out the riddle as you slurped down the delicious icy treat. Sometimes you would suffer a brain freeze (like I often did) just to get to the answer as quickly as possible. But maybe, if the answers weren’t so cute, you wouldn’t have attacked the treat so viciously. SchadenFreezers imagines unexpectedly snarky and funny responses to those innocent little riddles — in GIF form, obviously.

As you might’ve already experienced yourself (and if not – do try it with someone!) – yawing is medically proved to be contagious. If you hear or see someone yawn, chances are that within seconds you’ll catch yourself doing the same. Some say that the only mammals on Earth that don’t yawn are the giraffes (which, of course, you could also try challenging by testing it in a zoo. Let us know how it goes). If you’re having a hard time falling asleep, you can always use this post for therapeutic purposes. Besides it being an animal post, which already soothes the heart, it is bound to have you start yawning yourself. And once you do, you’ll notice that all of a sudden you got way sleepier… So let’s do a little experiment – scroll down the list and try not to yawn!
