Street Art Project Spreads 4,000 Blue Butterflies Throughout the World

Artist Tasha Lewis has started a global street art project where she will create 4,000 magnetic butterflies and then send them in packs of 400 to 10 groups around the world. In total, the swarms of butterflies will travel to 100 different homes, hopefully landing in all seven continents. Born from the fact that, as an individual artist living in New York City, she would not be able to travel as much as she would like, she hopes this installation will spread far and wide. Panoramic photos aren’t for everybody

Now that so many people own smartphones and DSLRs, everyone thinks they are a photographer. It’s so easy to take high quality photos. However, taking complicated shots like panoramas can be tricky, even when there is an app for it. People can fail… and when they do, it’s one of the creepiest things I’ve ever seen.

Getting a great name is all chance. After all, when you’re born, you don’t choose your own name. Some parents can be pretty cool when they’re selecting the forever-name of their darling child. And others?
Well, it’s hard to tell if the parents of these people were awesome or completely horrible. They gave their kids ridiculous names that no one will ever, ever forget.

John Cena deserves every ounce of credit for being a stand-up guy

There’s nothing more refreshing and inspirational than seeing a person of fame using their celebrity status to promote a great cause. Such is the case of WWE wrestler and champion John Cena and all the amazing work he has done for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. There are so many wonderful things we could say about John, but it seems appropriate to let the photos do all the talking…

These people had one job and failed miserably

We are all humans. And humans make mistakes.
That’s not to say you should make the mistakes that these people did. They had
one job to do and they failed so miserably at it, it’s almost hard to understand how it went
this wrong. By the time you get halfway through this list, you may be laughing hard enough to require extra oxygen, so go slowly.

Portraits of a Militia in Central African Republic

Anti-balaka militia originally sprang up to protect the Christian population of the Central African Republic, but now stand accused of human rights abuses themselves. Last month, the African Union branded militia targeting Muslims in Central African Republic as “terrorists” and said they would be treated as enemy combatants, a day after killing a Congolese peacekeeper and amid deepening international frustration at continuing violence in the impoverished and landlocked country.
