Emma and Dylan Smith gorged on three McMuffins each morning before returning for lunch where they would have two chicken wraps each. For dinner the pair, who have four children, would order burgers from Burger King.

Normally, you wouldn't want to think about germs when you sit down to a meal, but design studio MADLAB brings bacteria right over the dining table with their Bacterioptica chandelier. The suspended light fixture is comprised of 15,000 feet of fiber optic cables connecting a variety of petri dishes. Its modular composition includes hundreds of metal rods, couplings, caps, and canisters, allowing its owner to construct a unique structure with an infinite number of combinations.

Holy Land USA was an 18-acre (7.3 ha) theme park in Waterbury, Connecticut, inspired by selected passages from the Bible. It consists of a chapel, stations of the cross and replicas of catacombs and Israelite villages constructed from cinder blocks, bathtubs, and other discards. The park has been closed to the public since 1984, but its grounds remain intact.

The NASA Space Food Systems Laboratory (SFSL) is responsible for developing the US astronauts’ meals. The food needs to be high quality, easy to prepare in the weightlessness of space and must conform to the spacecraft stowage requirements. In addition, astronauts’ experience a loss in their sense of taste while in space and the SFSL make an extra effort to create spicy, flavour-filled food items to compensate for this.

A Brazil nightclub caught firelast night after a rather intense brawl for which 3 people have now been arrested. 

The deadly fire took 233 lives after the band's pyrotechnics went ablaze. One of the bandmembers is among the dead. 

Interstingly, among the arrested are two bandmembers and a co-owner of the spot.

Sounds pretty fishy to me...

Yes, that is a giant castle made completely out of stacked cards. I really do wonder how many times the darned thing had to fall apart before it got to this size. 

 

Bryan Berg used 218,792 cards (that's 4,051 decks) to create a replica of the Venetian Macau, which is on display in its namesake luxury hotel and casino. The entire ordeal took 44 days to complete.

Frankie O and Chris B-bop are just not getting along these days. Mr. Popular and Party Fail got in a fight over what to any LA native is a holy grail - a parking spot. 

TMZ reports,"As Chris went to leave [the studio], Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, ‘This is my studio, this is my parking spot.’ We’re told Chris went to shake Frank’s hand … and that’s when one of Frank’s people attacked Chris … one of Chris’ friends jumped in front and hit Frank’s friend … Frank then came at Chris … Chris pushed him away and they started brawling."

Moments later, Ocean took to his twitter to start some very opposite ending like statements.

Over 400 schools are being closed due to the frosty weather in Michigan this month.The road conditions, especially in the outer areas of the district, are extremely dangerous," said Ann Arbor Public Schools spokeswoman Liz Margolis in an email sent at about 4 a.m. Monday.

Kids all around are celebrating their January days locked into their homes. This is bound to be a good weekend for social networks and kids tv stations.
