Brad decided to go the ultra-romantic route this Valentine's day and get Angie nothing other than some 'EatWhatever' breath mints.

We don't know if Angie liked this joke though. He will probably get her a real present later, considering she always spoils him with nice gifts. Once she got him a $1.6 Million helicopter.

Look at This Happy Spider!
15 feb 2013 13:17

Our Nature is trully amazing with it's creations. Take for example this happy faced spider, it surely leaves with a lot of questions about our planet.

Scientists think the spider, which has the scientific name Theridion grallator and is harmless to humans, has evolved the patterns to confuse predators.

When a bird or other predator first sees a prey item it has not seen before there is a moment before it decides whether to eat it or not.

The End of The World? Asteroid 2012 DA14 to Pass The Earth Tonight
15 feb 2013 12:00

If the meteor that hit Russia this morning was only the size of a van, this "baby" here is the size of a half football field, let's hope it doesn't change it's predicted course.

NASA reports:

"Asteroid 2012 DA14, apparently not connected to the approximately 15 meter in diameter meteor which entered Earth's atmosphere last night above Russia, is now about to cross the geostationary ring.

According to NASA, the trajectory of the Russian meteor was significantly different than the trajectory of the approaching asteroid 2012 DA14, making it a completely unrelated object.

Videos of the meteor show it traveling from north to south. Asteroid 2012 DA14's trajectory is in the opposite direction, from south to north."

Will The A's Be able to compete in the west?
15 feb 2013 10:53
Will The A's Young Players bring continued success this upcoming season? Last Year The Athletics shocked the baseball world and won the American League West. The Oakland Athletics went on to win 98 games with 68 loses. The As' scored 713 runs while allowing 614. The A's eventually lost in the AL Division Series to the Detroit Tigers in game five of the series but that fact they made it that far shocked everyone. The Athletics are young and talented. Their Manager Bob Melvin won the American league Coach of the Year award and hopes for continued success for his young players. The American League West has stiff competition and now that the A's wont be sneaking up on people this season might be tougher. So do you think they can win the west again? I believe they have a strong chance with a great group of core players in Coco Crisp, Josh Reddick, Yoenis Cespedes, Chris Young, Brandon moss and a very talented very Young Pitching staff.

Meteor Hits Russia, Craaaazzzyyy...This Is Some Serious Stuff
15 feb 2013 01:30

The end of the world kind of story, this is really scary, ABC NEWS reports:

"A meteor streaked across the sky above Russia's Ural Mountains on Friday morning, causing sharp explosions and injuring more than 400 people.

"There was panic. People had no idea what was happening. Everyone was going around to people's houses to check if they were OK," said Sergey Hametov, a resident of Chelyabinsk, about 1500 kilometers (930 miles) east of Moscow, the biggest city in the affected region.

"We saw a big burst of light then went outside to see what it was and we heard a really loud thundering sound," he told The Associated Press by telephone.Interior Ministry spokesman Vadim Kolesnikov said more than 400 people had sought medical treatment after the blasts, and at least three had been hospitalized in serious condition. Many of the injuries were from glass broken by the explosions.

Small pieces of space debris — usually parts of comets or asteroids — that are on a collision course with the Earth are called meteoroids. When meteoroids enter the Earth's atmosphere they are called meteors. Most meteors burn up in the atmosphere, but if they survive the frictional heating and strike the surface of the Earth they are called meteorites."

The Most Insane Special Effects In A Movie Ever
14 feb 2013 18:52
When it comes to movies laden with special effects – the ones that REALLY changed the way you view films (forget the latest round of 3D films), you’d have to look at Terminator 2 (with the mercury reforming T1000), Keanu Reeves slow-motion sequences in The Matrix, the mind bending gadgetry of Transformers, the life-like dinosaurs in Jurassic Park and obviously Star Wars – which was literally lightyears ahead of the technology at the time. But now, alongside those epic SFX blockbusters, you can surely place the Indian movie ‘Robot’. Simply imagine a mashup of Iron Man, I, Robot & Bicentennial Man set to the score of Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) and you have one of the most hotly anticipated films in India. The plot is simply enough “A gifted scientist constructs an equally gifted robot, who sets out into the world for the first time with some unexpected and mind-blowing consequences.” To be perfectly upfront we have a very limited knowledge of Bollywood films – but when we saw the trailer for this, we thought it looked not only insane but utterly hilarious too. So if you like what you’re about to see – go hunt it down and check it out. With that in mind, check out the video and prepare for eye-candy and sensory overload!

Popstars Before...And After Lady Gaga
14 feb 2013 18:49
Lady Gaga, a true pop icon for a new generation. (And she just so happens to be my personal favorite human being in the world). Her worldwide appeal and meteoric rise to superstardom has at times almost been utterly immeasurable. And whilst many draw comparisons to a modern day Madonna, you can’t deny her immense talent, sharp wit and genuine sense of fun – if it all ended tomorrow, you know she’d be the first to admit she had a blast doing it. But perhaps most significantly, she’s made the entire industry step up their game. Britney in her bikini, snake wrapped around her washboard abs lip-syncing away, won’t cut it. Beyonce can’t relate to “all the single ladies” anymore…even Katy Perry has stopped kissing girls. So how DO you compete with the global juggernaut that is Gaga? Well it seems several of those aforementioned celebrities have decided that “if you can’t beat her, join her!”. We take a look a 5 female pop stars and their looks BEFORE Lady Gaga burst onto the scene….and AFTER. Sheer coincidence or a desperate attempt to steal the crown of popularity, from the true Queen Of Pop? You decide.
