Bats have been pretty trendy lately. At Zambia’s Kasanka National Park the bats are absolutely out of control. If you're a bat lover, this is the place to go sometime in October, when all the creepy little creatures come out of the trees to party. Sad thing is, there are so many in once place that some fall too close to the earth, putting themselves in danger of being eaten by larger carnivores.
There are some truly amazing sights to see on this wonderfl planet of ours. One is this very strange "potato chip rock," as people have been calling it. The ultra thin ledge is actually safe to stand on, walk on, jump on, and more. It's all science! If you're looking for a project for physics, this might just be a good idea to base your presentation on ;)
You welcome, high schoolers.
Tights have been trending since the middle of 2012. Now, in 2013 they're majorly in again as long as they're just a little out of the ordinary. Great places to shop for original tights are Etsy, Asos, and Modcloth.

Photographed by Mattias Clamer, 14 athletes, all with a good sense of humor, let themselves be transformed to emulate musicians and recreate iconic album covers from the past few decades.

“Pont de Singe” by French artist Olivier Grossetête is a bridge that is suspended by three large helium-filled balloons. The ultralight bridge is not functional but is a sculptural installation from the 2012 Tatton Park Biennial in the UK.
