A Boy And His Cats: I Document The Bond Between My Boys And Their Cats

A few years back we got our first family pet, a Ragdoll cat named Lucy. A year later we got another one and named her Irie. I fell in love with documenting these friendships, and a project was born. Each of my boys shares a different relationship with the cats. My oldest son is by far the most obsessed with the cats. He tries to smuggle one in to his bedroom every night.

I Made A Bed For My Cat Inspired By Super Mario’s Chain Chomp Monster

This is a combination of cat bed and storage chest based on the Chain Chomp character from the Super Mario Bros. I own a cat furniture company “Catastrophicreations”, and we’ve always been huge fans of Mario. I believe Super Mario Bros 3 is the best video game ever made. I’ve played around in the past with ideas to incorporate my favorite game in our furniture. We used to make a Super Mario Cat Complex, which was a hit with our cats.

Adorable photos proving that your kids need a cat

Dogs get a lot of love as awesome family pets, but don't write cats off. When they are not planning world domination, cats can be wonderful purring companions for children. Though they are excellent family pets, make sure your cat is socialized and that your children understand your cat's boundaries - they may get a nasty scratch otherwise!

Meet Albert: The Sheep-Cat With A Bitchy Resting Face

“Bitchy resting face” is a totally serious condition in which an individual’s resting, unemotional face naturally looks like it’s angry. Albert the cat suffers from this serious condition, which is hilarious because his luscious, curly fur also makes him look like a sheep (the curls are a hallmark of his breed, the Selkirk Rex).

Black Cats Don’t Have Anything To Do With Bad Luck

Many times when black cat crosses your way, you think that you’ll have bad luck, especially when this happens on Friday the 13th. However, superstitions depend on the family you are from as some are more superstitious than the others. Superstitious people are worried when their mirror breaks, because they believe they’ll have bad luck for the next 7 years. Black cats are the key to Monika Matek's project as she want people to realize that it’s irrational to say that black cats bring bad...

That’s why we like to create activities for her at home. Every week she likes to get dressed up and shoot fashion portraits in our little cat sized photography studio. We do a new look every week as she gets bored very easily and she tends to break things around the house if she doesn’t get her...

Though Cleo was in the capable care of Nancy's neighbors, she wasn't fond of the decision and set out to correct it herself. The gorgeous feline was rescued by Nancy 8 years ago, and the two clearly formed a close bond. This level of loyalty gives dogs everywhere a run for their money as man's best friend.
