Sphynx Kitty With Rare Neurological Condition Looks Like A Bat

When Lucy’s owner Zilla Bergamini saw a video of her together with her Sphynx siblings, she instantly fell in love. Lucy, as Zilla remembers, looked adorably different from her littermates. When Lucy was taken to a veterinarian, they learned that the kitty had hydrocephalus, a rare neurological condition characterized by a build-up of fluid in her brain.

Grandma Goes Mission Impossible While Dangling A 7 Y.O. From The 5th Floor to Rescue Her Cat

If the thought that your pet is more precious to you than anything else, we are almost certain this video captured in China might make you reconsider your priorities. This grandma has her priorities in quite a different order, apparently. When the lady noticed her cat sitting on a ledge one floor lower, the best idea for rescuing the feline that popped into her head was apparently to risk the life of her own grandchild and dangle him from the balcony.

Firefighter Saves Cat From Wildfire In California, And Now She Can’t Thank Him Enough

Recent wildfires across the state of California have claimed 80 lives so far, making it the nation’s deadliest in at least a century. There are still nearly 700 people who are unaccounted for. The so-called Camp Fire in Northern California has also completely destroyed the town Paradise, turning it into a “toxic wasteland.” In it, however, Captain Ryan Coleman of the Fairview Valley Fire Department still managed to find a survivor.

Sadly, the folks at Douglas County Animal Care & Services in Gardnerville, Nevada, are well accustomed to receiving anonymous animal dumping outside of regular work hours, but this one was even more heartbreaking than usual. On arrival at the shelter one morning, shelter supervisor Liz Begovich and her collegues came across an animal carrier, with a huge ball of unidentifiable fluff inside.

To explain what life with these furry creatures is all about, Scott Metzger has been drawing cartoons since 1996. His single-panel images cut to the very core of owning a feline, and their humorous nature might just explain to you some of the 'cat logic' that seems impossible to understand and first.

Cat Figures Out Owner Does Not Enjoy Her Live Gifts, Starts Bringing Giant Leaves Every Morning

It’s very common for cats to show their appreciation and affection by bringing gifts for their owners. Needless to say, these gifts are rarely welcomed by their ungrateful humans. This was the case with Baloo, a young cat with an owner named Ben. Baloo is not just any old cat however. She quickly figured out that Ben has other tastes in gifts, and went out to hunt for something nicer, something less…alive.

Valentino was the unfortunate cat no human would touch, and for many reasons

Valentino was the unfortunate cat no human would touch. The kitty’s fur was hardened and riddled with grime. His eyes were shut from being too caked and swollen for him to see anything. On top of that, the poor thing suffered from sarcoptic mange, a condition that is highly contagious to both cats and humans. But when Elaine Seamans passed by Valentino’s cage at the Baldwin Park animal shelter last week and heard his cry for help, she knew what to do.
