To celebrate David Letterman‘s 20th anniversary of working on CBS, Bill Murray showed up and made quite a spectacle. For his entrance, he chose to channel Liberace. Then, he chose to channel Whitney Houston in a rather…spirited performance of ‘I Will Always Love You.’ Thank goodness for YouTube, so we can watch these without paying a cable company.

When was the last time you thought about Avril Lavigne? 2003? Oh. Well, get ready to flashback to a time when you cared about her particular brand of punk pop, because her new video for ‘Rock N Roll’ features two of the internet’s favorite things — grown-up ’80s TV stars and BearShark. Avril debuted her video for ‘Rock N Roll’ recently to little fanfare. (Let’s be honest, the song’s a little…basic.) But slowly, people started to realize three things: 1. Billy Zane’s in it, playing some sort of action hero in a post-apocalyptic Russ Meyer-meets-’Tank Girl’ style future that is plagued by shark attacks. (How 2013!) 2. Avril makes out with her costar Danica McKellar, aka Winnie from ‘The Wonder Years.’ She even does a Kevin Arnold-style voiceover when they lock lips. 3. Billy Zane is in it. Also, BearShark, whom Avril takes down with a razor-sharp electric guitar while Billy Zane watches on a Segway. Basically, it’s the greatest Avril Lavigne video since…ever? Okay, now you may go back to never thinking about Avril Lavigne again.

The only question this woman wants to say “I do” to is “Do you want to beat up your boyfriend?” This video captures the latest in a long line of marriage proposals gone awry. For starters, it’s in a mall (where the couple met) and, unless you’re Tiffany and it’s 1986, no woman will be touched by the gesture. Second, there are way too many people (including a cheesy band and a woman mopping behind him) on hand. And, third, a train comes trolling by in the middle of it, making an awkward situation even more so. By the time Romeo here gets on bended knee, the girlfriend — who, based on her actions, may not be his girlfriend anymore – has clearly had enough. The jury is still out whether this was staged or not, but who cares? It’s funny. In either case, we win just by watching.

Here’s the new single from Finnish rapper Pale Tone, who helpfully notes in this song, “I just might be the greatest.” So…obviously… you should do yourself a favor and listen. Try to last at least till the chorus. You will not be disappointed… (NSFW lyrics)

As far as pranks go, this one is a tyrannosaurus-sized success. In this Japanese video, a man is heading into his office for what appears to be another ho-hum day when, all of the sudden, he sees his co-workers fleeing from what looks like a dinosaur. The frightened man tries to hightail it out of there, not realizing the dinosaur is actually a puppet (note the human feet commandeering the costume). It’s hilarious and kind of makes us wish the countless hidden camera pranks on YouTube make a dedicated effort to up their game. C’mon, USA!

This, as far as I can tell, is a music video for a song named “Dreams Are Real” made by guy named Ryan Barger. I feel safe in saying that it’s probably the most internet thing you will see today. A short film called ‘Star Drunk’ answers a question you didn’t know you had: what would a movie look like if it was written by drunk people, directed by a drunk person and starred only drunk actors? Sorry, ‘Sharknado.’ You no longer hold the title for the most ridiculous movie to come out in 2013. The answer can be found in this sci-fi action flick, which actually comes out better than you think, thanks to some slick production and a cast that, while blitzed, is not fall-down-on-your-face-after-a-night-cruising-the-frat-houses wasted. One of the film’s stars even took to Reddit to dispel any talk the cast really wasn’t loaded: A big question being asked repeatedly and understandably is: were all the actors REALLY drunk? The answer is a big YES! In fact, I personally got so wasted due to not timing my drinking correctly to when I was supposed to deliver, that I actually passed out and had to do it all over again (yes, get drunk all over again) a couple days later.” Ahh, only in America can you go online to prove you were indeed inebriated while doing your job. What a country! As for what the cast of ‘Sharknado’ was on when they agreed to make that cult classic, well, that’s under wraps.

If you ever wondered what it’s like for astronauts to readjust to life on Earth, this video has the answer for you. Apparently you drop stuff all the time, for starters. This video, made by the Johnson Space Center, is a little corny, but it’s nice to know that even astrophysicists and people who’ve drifted around in space feel compelled to make YouTube videos. They’re not so different from the rest of us.

A lady decided to do a “seductive” dance down the aisle to her own version of “Crazy B—-” by Buckcherry, and now it is being called the white trashiest wedding in history. (NSFW, btw.) We’ll tell you one thing — it really takes us back. It’s like flying home for a wedding all over again. This incredibly cringe-y wedding video might not include buckets of beer, people firing rifles to celebrate or a bunch of BBQ-sauce splattered folks line dancing to ‘Cottoneye Joe,’ but we bet that all happened later. Obviously the ever-classy internet has taken umbrage with the video, and began a barrage of insults aimed at the bride, who had this to say in response:

Here’s a prank that’s (pun ahoy!) shockingly funny. The husband in this video very convincingly fools his wife into thinking she has electrocuted him while he’s working on a light switch in their house. It’s really hilarious and we think you’re going to, ahem, light up when you see it. But some may think that tricking your spouse into thinking they’ve killed you is a tad on the cruel side. What say you? Funny or mean?

Listen we’re not experts on science, but this seems like a pretty sound methodology. Get somebody really drunk and give them tests. Then get the same person really high and give them the same tasks. Compare the two results and decide which is better — alcohol or marijuana. SCIENCE! Buzzfeed wanted to be clear that the marijuana consumed in this video was done so legally in the state of California. So, cool your jets, Ranger Rick.
