The thing about Jobs is that it could be the most visually beautiful and fascinating film ever produced. It could have a screenplay written by Aaron Sorkin while sitting on William Shakespeare’s grave. It could be directed by Steven Spielberg while Francis Ford Coppola whispers advice in his ear. It could theoretically be the greatest movie ever made, so good that it convinces every filmmaker on Earth to just stop, because they will never be able to top perfection. And none of that will really matter because I can’t look at Ashton Kutcher without making fart noises with my mouth and shouting, “DUDE!” and “SWEEEEEEET!” at my dog. But here’s the new trailer for Jobs anyway, so you can decide if it looks good or is simply Michael Kelso with a beard.

The puppy you see above is Walle. He could use some love. Yesterday, he won the 25th annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest in Chico, California, run by a bunch of blind nobodies who probably think margarine is superior to butter and that I shouldn’t be named the Universe’s Hunkiest Blogger (though, to be fair, Burnsy was a good choice). "A huge-headed, duck-footed mix of beagle, boxer and basset hound was the upset winner Friday at the 25th annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest. Walle, a 4-year-old mutt from Chico, California who was entered at the last minute, was judged most unsightly of 30 dogs at the Northern California competition. “This dog looked like he’s been photo-shopped with pieces from various dogs and maybe a few other animals,” judge Brian Sobel said." Apparently Brian Sabel has never seen these monsters. The dogs are terrifying, too.

We didn’t fully comprehend how many filthy words were in Macklemore’s hit song ‘Thrift Shop’ until we heard that Kidz Bop was going to cover it. That news filled us with an unexpected sense of dread, as we mentally rattled through the lyrics and realized so many children were about to be grounded for the summer. It’s okay though, guys. Kidz Bop has got this on lock. They’ve changed *so* many of the words that it’s practically a different song, which sort of makes it entertaining in its own right. But visual artist Nathan Sawaya has taken its versatility to the next level by creating a series of bold sculptures made entirely out of hundreds of those little plastic bricks. His new exhibition Art of the Brick will be on display at the Discovery Times Square museum in New York right up until January next year. Sawaya is also hoping to get one of his original artworks manufactured and created into an actual LEGO set you can buy – would that be awesome? Murmur is an art installation that transforms the sound of your voice into breathtaking light waves and projections. It’s the baby of 4 interactive design studios Chevalvert, 2Roqs, Polygraphik and Splank. Each of them has worked on a different element of the work including visual design, object design, sound design and a deft touch of programming. The installation simulates the movement of sound waves, building a luminous bridge between the physical and the virtual worlds. There is a magical effect, a mystery in the way that sound waves move. Murmur focuses on this movement, thus creating an unconventional dialogue between the public and the wall. By speaking down an echo chamber, your voice is carried down a connecting line and then interpreted into a beautiful collection of visuals using LED lights, from geometric shapes to mountains made of luminous circles. It’s enchanting and even magical to watch at times, watch the video below for the full effect. It looks like there’s a powerpuff girl growing up in Sweden! One-year-old Singlhild demonstrates capacities that are way beyond her years in the creative pictures, photoshoped by her dad Emil Nystrom. Swedish photographer makes his baby daughter fly after planes, fix his car and paint rooms. Interestingly, Singhild still couldn’t even crawl when most of the photos were taken, so her mom Isabelle would hold her up and be erased from the picture later. Emil has definitely earned his way into the creative dads’ club, alongside with Jason Lee and Dave Engledow!

Up until now, the only thing that we really knew about Anchorman 2 was that Will Ferrell and Co. were trying to cram every star under the sun into approximately 120 minutes of film time. But last night the brand spanking new trailer for the sequel to the 2004 comedy classic hit the cat tubes, and we finally have a much better idea of what this one is about. Basically, the News Team is picked to be the backbone of the world’s first 24-hour cable news network (Global News Network), Baxter drinks a soda, Ron talks about his hair, Ron gets Jungle Fever, Brick falls in love, James Marsden is really handsome, and Ron gets super racist at dinner with his new black girlfriend’s family. But you’re all adults with working eyeballs, so watch it yourself and stop making me describe everything.

At some point, I’m hoping to build an educated opinion on Drinking Buddies that is significantly better than GEE, OLIVIA WILDE U R VRY PRETTY! But I’m still having no luck with that and will continue stabbing my Jason Sudeikis voodoo doll in the genitals on my coffee breaks. As for the plot: "Luke and Kate are co-workers at a Chicago brewery, where they spend their days drinking and flirting. They’re perfect for each other, except that they’re both in relationships. Luke is in the midst of marriage talks with his girlfriend of six years, Kate is playing it cool with her music producer boyfriend Chris. But you know what makes the line between “friends” and “more than friends” really blurry? Beer." And Luke, played by New Girl’s Jake Johnson, has the difficult life of being in a serious relationship with Anna Kendrick but in love with Wilde. It’s exactly what would happen to me if I found myself alone on an island with Kendrick and Wilde and still didn’t look anything like me.
