Big companies spend huge sums of money to make their brands more recognized. Some of them really succeed in it.

Graphic designer Miguel Cardona, from San Francisco, creates beautiful artwork on coffee cups, from Star Wars to Breaking Bad. He sells the cups for $20 each and what’s even more amazing then the works itself is that Miguel donates the money to a project that helps homeless children in San Francisco.

Korean artist Jee Young Lee creates elaborate scenes resembling surreal worlds inside her tiny studio in Seoul.

Artist Sebastan Errazuriz has created a series of exquisitely-designed shoes that deal with his past relationships in a uniquely artistic and open way. The series, called “12 Shoes For 12 Lovers,” features shoes designed to reflect each of his 12 exes.

Each beautiful high-heel shoe comes with a brief description of the girls in Errazuriz’s past that it is dedicated to. Some of the descriptions are beautiful and flattering, while others are not quite as nice.

To many, being a photographer is a glorified profession. How hard could it be? You get to travel the world, shoot babies or weddings, and you might even be your own boss! Sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right? Over the past year, The Shoppe Design studio has started to dispel those myths, revealing the true life of a photographer. Dripping with sarcasm, the posters, under the series name Shoppe Satire, are mostly all lines photographers hear from their clients or ones they say to them (often with a sarcastic undertone). They're lines that make photographers sigh in disbelief like, "Your camera takes really nice pictures," or "Of course you are invited to our wedding. You're bringing your camera, right?" Whether you're just entering the profession or are a seasoned photographer, we'll guarantee you'll get a kick out of these posters!

This house was built during the Cold War. The half of it is built under the ground to protect its owners during the nuclear apocalypse. The house has an undeground lawn with a BBQ grill, pool, etc. The house is located in Las Vegas. It's on sale for 1.7 million USD.

Lollyphile, the creators of Sriracha lollipops has created a new unexpected lollipop flavor: blue cheese. The whole thing started out as a joke and everyone at the company was scared to actually try them. But then on of their models tried it and ate the whole thing convincing the rest of the Lollyphile team to give it shot too. Turns out the combo of sharp cheese and sweet is actually pretty damn tasty. Kinda makes me wonder if I should have tried my nephew’s tuna/peanut butter/ice cream concoction. Sure, he vomited a LOT after eating it, but he also spun around 100 times afterwards so you never know.

Belgian artist Wim Delvoye creates large-scale sculptures of vehicles typically found on construction sites, using an intricate lattice design. Inspired by Gothic architecture, the massive laser-cut Corten steel structures break the boundaries between constructing tools and resulting art. They appear to be one and the same, each truck mimicking a sort of mobile cathedral.

Matthieu Georger is an amazing origami artist that can not only fold advanced and technical designs from other origami masters, but also creates his own designs, such as the bull and bear below. On his wonderful Flickr profile you will find a large collection of mostly animal origami. The well-lit and close up photographs of each artwork really let you appreciate the detail involved in each piece. In this series, California-based photographer Viktorija Pashuta transformed a variety of web browser icons into trendy fashion statements. The Latvian fashion photographer has always wondered What if girls were internet browsers?, and so, the project brings that vision to life through a creative interpretation of the notable logos. To develop the project, Pashuta envisioned each browser with certain characteristics based on the styles of the popular symbols. She developed ensembles based off of these personifications and chose models Kaylen Dao, Brittany Ryan, Clancy McClain, Tracy Acholonu, and Polina Frantsena to don the inventive garb.

A few weeks ago I was perusing the Renegade Craft Fair and I came across ChaCha Covers. The shop sells nail decals, NOT blankets for your lady parts as I initially thought. They sell nail decals for every occasion. Pizza party? There’s pizza party nails. Jem and the Holograms marathon? ChaCha Covers has got you covered. Wearing a Marilyn Monroe costume? Marilyn Monroe didn’t wear her face on her nails but you totally can. Wu-Tang Clan blasting on your boombox? Oh they got Wu-Tang nails alright and Wu-Tang nails ain’t nuthing ta f*** wit. They even do custom stuff, so you can have any image on the decals. You know what I’m gonna get? A picture of nails on my nails. Nailception! Plus it’s because my nails are all kinds of ragged. I’m a biter!

Tali Shaul and Hagit Morevski are friends from Even Yehuda in Israel. The pair were enthusiastic to work together on a creative project and were inspired by an article on alternative housing they read in a women’s magazine. They bought this 12 foot long bus from a scrapyard and have since completely redesigned the interior transforming it into this sophisticated luxury living space.

A company called Peleg Design created a penguin egg cooker that lets you boil eggs inside the birds’ ‘tummies.’ Not only that, but you can also serve eggs inside these ‘Egguins.’ These puns are very much intended and are ‘eggcellent’ if I say so myself.

25 year old Zack MacLeod Pinsent of Pinset Tailoring in Brighton, U.K. is a very dapper young man who dresses as if he were a Regency gentleman from the 19th century. Pinset told the BBC that this clothing is far more comfortable for him and builds his confidence more than modern clothing ever did. In fact, he burned his last pair of jeans as a teenager.

Disney has partnered Filipino designer Kevin Cobonpue to introduce a high-end Star Wars furniture line that is as stylish as it is nerdy. Cobonpue first launched the collection last fall in the Philippines, but it will now be available at select retailers and showrooms across the U.S. From fuzzy Chewbacca hair footstools to mini lightsaber-wielding Jedi lamps, this furniture is the ultimate fans dream.

Founded by brothers Harry and Ben Tucker, Plane Industries (previously) create beautiful and unique furniture and accessories using reclaimed aircraft parts. Based in the UK, the brothers initially started their venture in 2012 as Fallen Furniture, with a few tools and some scrap parts from an Aircraft breakers they set about making furniture. Initially there was no real plan just an idea and inspiration to create beautiful interesting pieces of furniture

Greek artist Gregory Grozos is on a quest to prove that watches can do much more than just tick. They can fit entire worlds inside them. "I call my creations 'miniature worlds' because that is what I exactly aim them to be," Gregory writes. "I try to make each work as detailed and complete as a tiny world would need to be in order to be called a world."

32-year-old Kjetil Mathisen, from Norway loves flying machines so much that he has taken his passion to new heights. About two years ago, Kejtil and his friend Stian Alexander Hoddevik decided to build their own replica Boeing 737 cockpit from scratch. The cockpit is nearly identical to the original and it is even connected to Microsoft flight simulator software that allows them to engage in virtual flights. Nice job!

Designer Mehdi Mojtabavi has invented the Cuddle Mattress, a mattress made of foam slats with recesses that are supposed to make cuddling more comfortable. According to Salon, the Cuddle Mattress prototype won a 2007 Red Dot award and was a finalist in the 2008 Industrial Designers Society of America. Mojtabavi is currently seeking investors to put the design into full production.

The Chinese language is a fascinating and expansive beast. The general rule is that if you recognize around 200 characters, that will allow you to understand around 40% of what you see – from menus, to street signs, through to newspapers and television commercials. That’s enough for most tourists to travel around the country quite easily. If you want to get lost in a chunky novel, you’re going to need to be familiar with around 1000 different characters. And finally, if you’re planning on being an astrophysicist in China, you’re going to have to broaden your range to around 20,000 characters.

In his final semester of architecture school, graduate student Hank Butitta grew tired of completing conceptual projects that only existed on paper and decided to bring an assignment to life. With this drive, Butitta impulsively bought a school bus off of Craigslist for $3,000 with the intention of redesigning it into a mobile home for his final project. The idea gained traction and the support of professional architects and instructors, prompting the ambitious architect to actually transform the vehicle.
