It's called "Initiation," and it includes Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Taissa Farmiga, and Evan Peters. Sony Pictures Animation has released a new funny clip for Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2! The clip features the entertaining introduction of a new character named Barry, the talking strawberry. The first movie was surprisingly hilarious. I love the wackiness of the concept, and the sequel should end up being just as fun. The sequel was directed by Cody Cameron (story artist on Shrek, Surf’s Up, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Kris Pearn (head of story on Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and stars the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, and Kristen Schaal. It's set to be released on September 27th, 2013. Enjoy the clip!

Earlier this year, during my morning routine of looking for hilarious pictures and GIFs in these here cat tubes, I came across a Tumblr page that instantly became my favorite thing of 2013. That page, of course, is Baseball Card Vandals, which is still going strong, pumping out the most absurdly humorous desecrations of “worthless cards” on all the interwebs. But like any good meme, even the simplest alteration can breathe some fresh air into these lungs, and that happened on Sunday with the introduction of some new football cards in honor of the start of the 2013 NFL season. I don’t care how old I am, whether I’m living in an old folks home or accepting my nomination to be the next pope, or if the world is on the brink of a nuclear Armageddon at the hands of our cyborg cockroach overlords – if I ever don’t find the very last card in this gallery hilarious, I’m going to exile myself to the moon. Check out the rest of the football cards and the latest baseball cards at Baseball Card Vandals, follow them on Tumblr and Twitter, and check out their new shop as well.

I’ve often thought Disneyland seems like a great place for terrifying acid trip, and that was only on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. I’ve never been to DisneyWorld, but the fact that it’s in Florida makes me feel confident in assuming that it’s a hall of horrors. That Disney parks are creepy seems to have been the inspiration for Randy Moore’s Escape from Tomorrow, a “surrealistic, genre-defying” thriller shot guerrilla-style inside Disneyland and Disneyworld. It’s set to hit theaters and VOD on October 11th, assuming Disney’s lawyers don’t have Moore sent to Mouschwitz before then. Disney is the nefarious monolith that gave us Miley Cyrus and history’s wussiest generation of American actors, I wouldn’t put anything past them. Incidentally, the Disney equivalent of the Aryan ideal is Zac Efron.

AMC’s neon shirt budget just skyrocketed, ’cause the Saul Goodman Breaking Bad spinoff is ON. After several weeks of negotiations, the basic cable network has inked a licensing agreement with Sony for the series’ next iteration. “As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul,” the studio and network confirmed in a joint statement, adding: “plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character [played by Bob Odenkirk] before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.” The series will star Odenkirk, with writer/producer Peter Gould set to run the series as it was Gould who created the character back in season. Bad creator Vince Gilligan will remain involved, and noted in late July that it was his “fervent wish” that the spinoff would move forward. Had talks with AMC fallen through, there were several other distributors, including Netflix, that were set to pounce with rich offers. Like Bad, the series will be produced by Sony, where Gilligan spent several years under an overall deal. The showrunner has not yet re-upped, and has fast become the most in-demand showrunner in town. The news comes as Bad is set to ends its run in less than a month. (Via IMBD) Feel free to answer every question for the rest of the day with, “It’s all good, man.” (Yes, Better Call Saul could suck, but it could also be great, and it’ll keep Odenkirk distracted from making The Brothers Solomon 2.)

Everyone likes to capture a perfect moment. These are those perfect moments caught right before everything goes wrong. We like to think of them as classier versions of ‘America’s Funniest Home Video,’ mostly because of the lack of sound effects. Feel free to add your own. Thanks, cameras for all the comedy!

We know parents love their kids. They want what’s best for them. But sometimes, mom and dad can be super annoying, and munchkins have no problem letting ‘em know. Of course all the cuddling and smooching is cute and all, but there comes a point where enough is enough. Feeding kiddos gross food or even playing tricks on them is also grounds for mega irritation. And quite frankly, we don’t blame these kids for their ‘tudes one bit. Check out 11 of these adorably sassy youngsters below.

Listening to someone give the play-by-play after they witness an accident doesn’t exactly sound entertaining, but this guy proved it definitely can be. This man was in the midst of leaving his boss a message when he saw a car accident. What follows is his hilarious and precise account of what happens to all the people involved. The man claims it’s all real. If so, this fella should be working as a sportscaster because he has a tremendous knack for relaying what’s going on right in front of him.

After undergoing surgery to repair some hernia tears, Jason Mortensen was dosed up on heavenly morphine and barely able to form sentences, let alone make sense of the swirling world around him. All he knew was that there was a woman next to him and that she was the “prettiest woman I’ve ever seen.” That woman was his wife. Suddenly, millions of wives are signing their husbands up for heavily sedated surgeries. Win-win!

If you’re anything like me, you were completely oblivious to this weekend’s U.S. Open action, because you were busy laughing at Lane Kiffin’s coaching ineptitude on Saturday and then cursing Stevan Ridley’s stupid clumsy hands on Sunday. But if you’re a normal person who isn’t obsessed with the failure of others and fantasy football, you’re probably aware that Serena Williams won her fifth and second-consecutive U.S. Open title yesterday, while Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will play for the men’s championship today at 5 PM ET. Much more important those inconsequential tidbits, however, is the fact that Kate Upton took in some U.S. Open action on Saturday, as she was a guest in the Moet & Chandon Suite with Karolina Kurkova. It was part of a whirlwind weekend for the 2013 Model of the Year and With Leather’s Eternal Greatest Celebrity Sports Fan in the World, as she also attended the Daily Front Row's First Fashion Media Awards. I went ahead and included some photos from that, too, because I know you care.

Good news world! You can officially stop talking about Miley Cyrus‘ VMAs performance and commence your chatter about her new music video ‘Wrecking Ball,’ which, as far as we can tell, is a how-to guide for getting a yeast infection. No, really. The teaser picture for the new single off ‘Bangerz’ was plenty of indication of what was to come as Cyrus did in fact ride a wrecking ball throughout the video, stuck to her all-white outfit scheme and lacked both pants and a bra the entire time. In the emotionally charged video, Cyrus cries, makes out with various instruments of destruction and even takes all her clothes off to writhe around on top of a giant wrecking ball. Which can’t be sanitary because that room is full of dust particles. Unless that’s a metaphor too.

Lollyphile, the creators of Sriracha lollipops has created a new unexpected lollipop flavor: blue cheese. The whole thing started out as a joke and everyone at the company was scared to actually try them. But then on of their models tried it and ate the whole thing convincing the rest of the Lollyphile team to give it shot too. Turns out the combo of sharp cheese and sweet is actually pretty damn tasty. Kinda makes me wonder if I should have tried my nephew’s tuna/peanut butter/ice cream concoction. Sure, he vomited a LOT after eating it, but he also spun around 100 times afterwards so you never know.

Whether ogling the pretty ladies, going for a swim or soaking in the sun, it can be easy to forget how awe-inspiring and massive the sea is. British photographer Michael Marten’s ‘Sea Change’ series gives us yet another glimpse at the power of the sea and how insignificant it can sometimes make us seem.

These bizarre, giant dog heads wearing chef hats were part of an interactive public art event that recently took place in the Bay area of California. The plastic dachshund sculptures formerly served as the mascots for the Doggie Diner, which closed in 1986 in San Francisco. Just recently, Polish artist Olek was invited to cover the strange figures with her signature crochet designs.

With a unique blend of artistic methods, Czech photographer Michal Macku has created a series of gripping manipulated images that painfully portray anxiety, self-loathing and despair. The technique used to create these images is called “gellage” (a combination of collage and gelatin). It involves transferring the photographs onto a transparent gelatin substance that can then be manipulated and reshaped physically. This allows Michal to introduce physical manipulations that would be difficult to reproduce in any other way, and because the gelatin transfers are manipulated by hand, each print is a unique work of art.

Belgian artist Wim Delvoye creates large-scale sculptures of vehicles typically found on construction sites, using an intricate lattice design. Inspired by Gothic architecture, the massive laser-cut Corten steel structures break the boundaries between constructing tools and resulting art. They appear to be one and the same, each truck mimicking a sort of mobile cathedral.

Art historian Paul Koudounaris hunted down these jewel encrusted skeletons in secret Catholic vaults. Those are the remains of Catholic martyrs dug up from Roman catacombs. They were sent to churches across Europe to replace relics destroyed in Reformation. Some took up to five years to decorate in gold, silver and gemstones. Several skeletons were even found hidden away in lock-ups and containers.

Optical illusions are notoriously a lot of fun. You might be staring at an object, move an inch to the left and witness a whole new dimension or you might glance at something in the distance only for your mind to play tricks on you. It’s one of the few forms of art that is truly interactive and personalised, we all have the capacity to perceive the world around completely separately from each other and optical illusions are a great example of that process. The Science Gallery in Dublin, Ireland is currently hosting a new exhibition dedicated to the art of deception. It’s called Illusion and includes breath-taking artworks by artists Matt Kenyon, Gregory Barsamian Roseline de Thelin & Jonty Hurwitz - all of whom were researched by a chap called Paul Gleeson who is in fact an escapologist & magician! It takes one to know one as they say. Together the artists have created a world of shifting perspectives, sensory deception and dreamlike visuals designed to excite, confuse and above all – surprise. Here’s a few examples from the exhibition for you to enjoy.

In a unnerving 6 minutes, you’ll be faced with the shocking reality of overconsumption and its affect on the world as whole. The footage is taken from the awe-inspiring Samsara movie, in this particular sequence our over zealous and greedy need for food whenever we feel like it has outpaced the capacity of the world’s ecosystem. Industry has had to step in to supply demand and it’s here the any sense of comfort, kindness and relief are cast aside in the name of demand, profit and producing as much food as possible. Regardless of the physical effects on the animals themselves or indeed those of the workers who are forced to work long hours in bleak slaughterhouses. It’s purely a numbers game, powered by giant manufacturing plants all supplying millions of supermarket aisles around the world. It’s an eye-opening and often disturbing look at the entire process of where your food comes from so viewer discretion is advised. Next time you’re after a snack and find yourself walking into to McDonald’s, have a think about the system you’re contributing to.

These kinds of fan music videos are hit and miss for me. Most of the ones I come across aren't that good, but Game of Thrones - Ultimate Birthday Rap Battle is actually done pretty well. It's set up at a 10-year-old's birthday party, which doesn't make much sense, but that's the vibe they were going for. Here's a note from the team that made it:

Yo VIP, I got a video for you. Here's a short that required way too much effort for such a ridiculous, but incredibly awesome, idea. I'm not the biggest fan of Vanilla Ice, but I can appreciate the amount of time it took to throw these clips from film and television together to rap "Ice Ice Baby." There are way too many to count, but at a glance you'll see House of Cards, Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back, The Big Lebowski, Batman & Robin, Terminator, TMNT, and Trailer Park Boys for starters. Enjoy it, and apologies in advance if the song's in your head the rest of the day.

Here's an entertaining trailer for a new film called Fading Gigolo, which stars Woody Allen and John Turturro. Here's where things get interesting... Allen didn't direct the movie, Turturro did, and it's very rare to get Allen to star in someone else's movie. But when you watch this trailer you'll see why Allen took the gig. This looks like a very well-scripted, funny film that audiences could enjoy. It is about a guy whose friend convinces him to become a gigolo for a little extra cash. It actually kind of feels like a Woody Allen movie, and here's the synopsis: Woody Allen plays as bookseller-turned-pimp to John Turturro's middle-aged neophyte hustler, in actor-writer-director Turturro's inspired left-field comedy. The premise is as inspired as it is absurd, and Turturro carries it off with his own affecting and surprisingly romantic vision of New York City. The film doesn’t have a U.S. release date yet, but it is set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this September.

During Edgar Wright's panel for The World's End at Comic-Con last month, the director showed off a really cool video created by Mike Relm called The Cornetto Megamix, and it features the audio and video from the three films that Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost have worked on together over the years: Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End (collectively dubbed the "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy"). Wright posted the video on his blog and said that it "might be my favourite re-edit of any of my work."
