Shark At French Aquarium Loves Belly Rubs Like A Dog
26 may 2015 12:54
While most divers dare only look at a shark from behind steel bars, this worker at New Caledonia's Aquarium des Lagons seems overly familiar with this little leopard shark.

Rescue Me From Demon

I am Jerameel Lu, 24, a hobbyist from the Philippines. I am a Civil Engineer by profession, but Art is my passion. I hope that someday, when I’ve saved enough money, I can leave this job & freely do what I want, to follow my passion in art. Maybe that’s the reason why some of my artwork creates the illusion that the images appear to be pushing out of the page. Maybe those images are my passion, trapped by my situation, trying to get free.

26 may 2015 11:09
Sure, photographers take a lot of photos of dogs, but did anyone ever ask dogs what they want to take pictures of? With this new “Heartography” heart monitor and photo camera system, Nikon aims to let dogs show their owners what excites and interests them by snapping a photo from their point of view every time their heart rate goes up.

Photographer Katie Joy Crawford has wrestled with anxiety disorder her entire life, which is why she was especially qualified to create this gripping photo series showing us what it’s like to live with this burden. “Anxiety bars the sufferer from the risk of discovery, the desire to explore new ideas, and the possibility of exiting a comfort zone,” she writes in the description of her project, ‘My Anxious Heart.’ “It makes sure that it will never be alone. Soon after we met, we started hitchhiking
25 may 2015 13:04
Once, a man gave me a ride. We talked about love, girlfriends, that kind of stuff. He said, “Listen, if you want to find out if you really want to spend the rest of your life with a girl, go on a hitchhiking trip together.” The man compared hitchhiking to life. “It is not hard to be in love when everything is alright. Just like hitchhiking, it’s very easy when the sun shines and you get rides all the time. But when it starts raining, and no one takes you, then it’s get harder. Sometimes...

50 Funny Dogs That Love Car Rides More Than Anything
25 may 2015 11:28
A dog headed to the park or on a roadtrip with its head stuck out of a car window is the perfect picture of happiness. But why is it that dogs love sticking their head out the window so much? Most scientists and dog experts believe that it has to do with their excellent sense of smell. Dogs rely far more on smell than they do on any other sense, so the air rushing past them and into their nose represents an all-you-can-eat buffet of information about the world around them.

Eating food just isn't as safe as it used to be. These photos are all REAL submissions from people who have found these vile items in their food. Some of these are from fast food chains, others are actually from manufactured items that have ended up inside these poor people's homes. Looks like we will just have to all start growing our own food from now on. I'd do ANYTHING to avoid any of these happening to me...

I can’t imagine my day without a cup of coffee and strange, beautiful things, which inspire me to create playful characters. I’m inspired by all kinds of things: people, nature, daily life, fairy tales, childhood memories and children’s books! Watercolors are my medium of choice and I enjoy working with it. The colors always blend in fresh and surprising ways, which I love.

Shadows And Mist: I Draw Mystical Creatures With Graphite
21 may 2015 09:57
For its way to reveal the texture of the paper, as well as the material on itself, the graphite is the ideal medium to achieve the atmosphere I want to bring out in my artworks. It allows a full and obvious light and shadows play. It’s a restless backward and forward movement between light and shadows, one existing only in relation to the other. The merging blacks and grays offer countless landscapes, discreet but real, awaiting for one’s imagination to get into. My inspirations find their...

I’m Anna Larson, Owner of Anna Christine Photography in Olympia, WA. I unknowingly began this photo series of my daughters two years ago by photographing them at play. Semenesh was adopted from Ethiopia five years ago, while Haven is my biological daughter. Their close connection was evident through the images and I saw a similarity that had bloomed from friendship. They are their own individuals with very different personalities, yet I see so many similarities because of their closeness.
