Bill Hader sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night and pretty much never got up, doing an extended interview and then playing sidekick during a Richard Simmons visit. It was all great and if you’re the Hader fans we are you should watch every second. There’s getting stranded in Martha’s Vineyard at Seth Meyers’s wedding, people having sex during He Got Game, and geeking out on famous directors during “Laser Cats.” But most importantly and hilariously of all there’s Hader describing the scene at James Franco’s Comedy Central Roast and how he goes way back with James. TigerNet covers Clemson University athletics, as the Fridge played football for the Tigers. As with any good game of Internet telephone, TigerNet’s report quickly spread on Twitter, as Bears fans and NFL fans in general began mourning the loss of the 50-year old big man, who holds the record for the largest Super Bowl ring ever created with a ridiculous size 25. But the rumors were bound to hit Perry’s friends and family and some point, and eventually even the man himself.

Belgrade, Serbia artist Milos “Sholim” Rajkovic has created a surreal collection of animated GIFs showcasing faceless people with moving mechanical parts packed into their heads. In an interview with The Daily Dot, Milos shared that the models he used his GIFs were “politicians, corporate people, or just pretty faces from the commercials that we watched for hundreds of times during a day and who have no identity and personality.”

Ever wanted to see a sci-fi short film written and performed by drunk people? Well, that’s probably half of all films, but Star Drunk did it intentionally. Of course this happened in Portland. Star Drunk is an experiment in writing a short film while drunk; several writers from Portland got together one night to write the script. We promised each other that whatever we wrote that night, we’d produce as a short film. We ended up creating a Star Trek-Star Wars-Battlestar Galactica’esque parody with laser gun fights and space battles. Taking the concept a step further (and stranger), we asked our cast to be drunk on the night of filming. [ChrisRWilsonFilm] Those actors include Greg James, Adam Elliot Davis, Kyle Smith, Britt Harris, Alexander Fraser, and Bethany Jacobs (pictured above) doing an impression of Carol Marcus from Star Trek Into Darkness.

Marvel has released a new extended TV spot for Thor: The Dark World, and as you've seen, it looks like he has his work cut out for him in this next movie. Nicholson, 76, quietly stepped down from a 50-year career. “Jack has — without fanfare — retired,” an insider told Radar Online. The rationale behind his decision has to do with his aging. “There is a simple reason behind his decision — it’s memory loss. Just like the rest of us, visual artist Emily Blincoe is partial to the odd sugary indulgence but whilst we’re all unwrapping and munching on them, she’s opted to create this wonderful collection of visuals titled “Sugar Series”. In it, she’s carefully selected all manner of different types of confectionary and then organised them solely by colour. Apple greens, tangy oranges, citrus yellow and raspberry red are just a few of the colour schemes she’s used. Lady Gaga May Pull Double Duty as Host + Musical Guest on 'SNL' (1 photo)

Lady Gaga will reportedly appear on ‘Saturday Night Live‘ for the third time come this fall, but unlike her past appearances, Mother Monster will be acting as both the host and the musical guest during an episode of the long-running comedy program. This will put Gaga in the same ranks as Justin Timberlake who recently did double duty on the show in one of the better episodes, as well as Justin Bieber, who was reportedly a good sport. A rep for NBC refused to comment on the reported lineup. Gaga has previously acted in small sketches on the show, including a digital short with Timberlake and Andy Samberg and a face off with Madonna as herself. She will also make her acting debut on the big screen next month in the purposeful B-movie ‘Machete Kills.’ She’s not going into this completely blind. Basically, the 39th season of the sketch comedy show is in for an interesting year. Even more so if Lindsay Lohan says yes to hosting for her sixth time.

Sunday, September 29 is most notable for our purposes because it is the date of the series finale of Breaking Bad. That is, provided we all survive until then and don’t just start vibrating at such a high frequency from the intensity and breakneck pace of the episodes leading up to it that we burst into a billion zillion little particles and eventually settle back down to the earth as a fine, sand-like sediment layer on the crust. (Scientists thousands of years from now will refer to this as the Heisenberg layer. It will be totally devoid of nutrients, but if you put your ear very close to it, you will hear it ramble on and on about its feelings about Skyler and what it thinks Walt did with the ricin.) But that’s not the only thing on television that night. Far from it. Sunday, September 29 also features a primetime football game on NBC (always a ratings juggernaut), an episode of Boardwalk Empire on HBO, and a SLEW of premieres, including: Homeland; the final season of Eastbound & Down; The Good Wife; The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and the rest of Fox’s animation block; The Amazing Race for reality TV fans; and the series premiere of both Lizzy Caplan’s Masters of Sex and Stephen Merchant’s Hello Ladies. Rarely do our interests intersect with those of Good Morning America‘s (we hate good things and despise mornings), but this is too good, too dare-I-say heartwarming to not pass along. In 2008, while serving in Afghanistan with the Marines, Jesse Cottle stepped on an IED and lost both of his legs. After returning to the States, Cottle spent months painfully recovering in a hospital and was eventually given prosthetic legs. Then love came a-calling: "After [time] in the hospital, Jesse met his future wife Kelly, 24, in San Diego at a swim meet during one of his first outings with his new prosthetic legs. “His personality and who he is just outweighs his injuries by so much that you forget about it after a while,” Kelly explained." They got married in August of last year. To celebrate, Jesse and Kelly recently visited her family in Boise, Idaho, where they took a series of family portraits, some of which show Jesse carrying her happy husband on her back. One photo, taken by ShutterHappy’s Sarah Ledford, has nearly 11,000 Likes on Facebook because Jesse Cottle is the opposite of mornings, in that: people like him.

f you’ve ever been to an IKEA store, or rather if you’ve ever found yourself trapped in the maze that is one of their stores, you’ll be familiar with the Swedish names they give their products. Generally speaking, these names denote the type of function that product will perform, so ‘DISKA’ translation “to wash dishes” is the name of a dishwashing brush. Seems logical enough doesn’t it? It’s a very succinct and efficient way of making sure consumers know the product does what it says on the label. Except when it comes to the following 12 examples. Here their names make no sense at all – maybe the right words were already taken? Maybe it was 5.30pm on a Friday and the person in charge of selecting thousands of functional names had simply had enough. Either way, they make for entertaining viewing.
