Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent is out on $500, 000 bail after he allegedly sped and flipped a car in whihc his team mate Jerry Brown Jr. died. Brent was speeding in the Mercedes he was driving, when it slammed into a curb. The car flipped at least once before coming to a rest. Irving police said Brent was given a field sobriety test and arrested for driving drunk and then for manslaughter when Brown died.
Week 14 saw the Detroit Lions traveling to snowy Wisconsin to face the mighty Green Bay Packers. The Lions were playing for pride, as well as helping Calvin Johnson reach Jerry Rice's all-time receiving yards. Oh yeah, and there is that business of the Lions not being able to win a game in Wisconsin in 21 years.
