A South African surfer Brett Archibald, 50, went on a surfing trip through the Mentawai Islands off Indonesia. The All Aboard Travel promised to take him and other adventure seekers to the "best waves on the planet." The boat ride through the Indian Ocean was 10 hours to reach that spot, and everybody got extremely sea sick on board. "I released I was really seasick. I had two really big vomits and then I think I blacked out while I was retching." said Brett. Later on he allegedly went up to the deck to urinate, lost his balance and fell into the chilling water without a life jacket. Only in a few hours the Naga Laut crew noticed that Archibald was missing. Soon after the tour operators and the Indonesian rescue services were searching for him. "The night was carnage I had sharks swimming past me. I got stung by a jelly fish. Seagulls even tried to pick my eyes out and I have got big holes in my nose. It was insane, just insane. I actually gave up" explained Brett. Fortunately he was lucky enough not to get too hurt, or even worse. He was rescued by John and Belinda McGroder who spotted him from their boat at around 6:30 a.m. He was suffering from hypothermia, but other then that was thankful to have survived, and continued his 10 day trip.

A recent study conducted by Lance Price of the Translational Genomics Research institute (TGen) and his colleagues, showed that circumcision lowers the chances of contracting HIV. They conducted a detailed genetic analysis of microbes among a group of Ugandan men using the latest technology, before circumcision and again a year later after circumcision. Findings of a new international study revealed that people who enjoy successful entertainment or sporting careers tend to die younger. Researchers Richard Epstein and Catherine Epstein said the study, based on analysing 1,000 New York Times obituaries from 2009-2011, found film, music, stage performers and sports people died at an average age of 77.2 years. Researchers said that earlier deaths could indicate that performers and sports stars took more risks in life, either to reach their goals or due to their success. And of course the more common notion was also discussed, such as smoking, drinking and drug habits which are often adapted and abused in the entertainment industry.

For years now we have heard about climate changes and how they will affect our planet. Scientists have warned us about rising sea levels. Thanks to Pittsburgh artists Nickolay Lamm we can now see what that impact might look like. Looking at stock photos and projection maps from Climate Central, Lamm re-created each scene as it will appear after a 25 foot rise in sea level. The only good news for us is that it will take hundreds of years for the sea levels to rise but Lamm is hoping to draw attention to the threat of climate change now before it gets worse.

Humiliated Ex Hooters Waitress Is Suing!

Sandro Lupo's hours at Hooters were cut, therefore forcing her to quit, after she had brain surgery. Her manager told her that she had to wear a wig to cover her baldness and the scar to work, but she couldn't because the wig impaired her healing. She is suing Hooters for an unknown sum of money. Her lawyer says she was humiliated and discriminated against based on a temporary disability Americans with Disabilities Act bans. Hooters defense wants the suit to be dropped. Well as we all know Hooters is all about visual appeal, and their bussiness would be compromised when costumers see the bald headed scarred waitress. As superficial and sad as this sounds, this is the reality, and the case will probably be dismissed in federal court like some previous similar discrimination cases with Hooters.
