Japanese Engineer Perfectly Re-Creates Models From The Popular ’80s Sci-Fi Saga For His Son

If you are not familiar with Maschinen Krieger (abbreviated as Ma.K) here is a little bit of background. The franchise was started by Kow Yokoyama in the 1980’s. Yokoyama-san was a scratch-build modeller, artist and sculptor. Among his works he built machines of war that would fight in the 29th century, but took their visual cues from early 19th century weaponry and the early NASA space program. All his models were pieced together from numerous kits.

This Kid Is Streaming Fortnite For Over 10 Hours A Day To Raise Money For His Dad’s Cancer Treatment

Something’s really wrong with this world when something comes up, like Canadians who can’t pay for their healthcare anymore. But it all makes sense since this story involves a man with cancer and we all can imagine how costly the treatment could be even for those living in one of the most developed countries in the world. Having this in mind, his son came up with a great idea to help make ends meet.

Mom Ends Up Being The Only Passenger On Her Son’s Flight After A 7-Hour Delay, Gets A Private Flight

Aren’t moms just the best? They tend to you when you’re sick as a kid, read a bedtime story and rock until you fall asleep, blow on your wounded knee after just another fall and keep supporting your craziest dreams no matter what. And yes, as cheesy as it gets, I will say it’s unconditional love. And we have Ryan McCormick’s story to prove it as his mom was the only passenger left waiting after long hours for the plane he was supposed to pilot.

People Rescue ‘Exotic’ Bird That Couldn’t Fly, Turns Out It’s A Seagull Covered In Curry

Recently, a Wildlife Hospital in the U.K. had an especially flamboyant-looking ‘patient’. Some good people saw the poor bright orange bird on the side of the road that was unable to fly. The kind people took it to the Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital to make sure it was okay. Turns out, the bird was neither tropical nor exotic – just a curious seagull that somehow got himself all covered in curry.

“Kindness Is Patriotic:” People Are Skipping July 4th Fireworks To Spend Time With Shelter Dogs

Just like New Year’s, July 4 isn’t exactly a holiday for most pups. In fact, fireworks and other loud noises can even make it a nightmare. And, while our family furballs have the commodity of hiding under the bed, shelter dogs aren’t so lucky. However, one shelter came up with a brilliant idea to help these homeless pups relax through the blasting holiday.

The world's worst ever nuclear disaster took place at Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Pripyat, Ukraine back in 1986, and its effects are still being felt today. Far from becoming the barren wasteland that many predicted after the catastrophic event the area has, in the absence of humans, become host to a great biodiversity. It really shows the power of nature to recover when left alone without us around to get in the way of things!

Scientists Discovered a New cat-fox Species Which Was Previously Believed To Be a Myth

For centuries, stories recounted by shepherds living in Corsica about meter-long cats with long sharp teeth that would attack ewes and goats at night were dismissed as a myth. However, in 2008 one such cat was accidentally caught in a chicken coop which encouraged scientists to extend their research of the new cat species.
