According to published reports, the Federal Reserve acknowledged Wednesday that one of its internal computer systems was breached. Sensitive data on more than 4,000 banking officials was compromised according to ZDNet. The hacking group Anonymous claimed responsibility for the attack on Sunday.
Officials are saying the hack did have any damages, but the folks at ZDNet seem to think otherwise. I just wonder what it means for us!

ON Tuesday night the classic boardgame let players vote online for a new character (and which one to throw out):
The iron is out and a new character, a cat, is in. Here's a look:
BlackBerry 10 has released their first smart phone the Z10. It's available in U.K. and Canada, so far but by March of 2013 all of the major U.S. carriers will have it. This is a big step for the BlackBerry, but can they fairly compete with the 2 biggest smarties out there the i OS and the Android? Well that's for you to decide.
On Saturday, February 2nd 2013 a former marine Eddie Lee Routh, shot Chris Kyle an Ex-U.S. Nave Seal, author of the "American Sniper," and co-founder of the FITCO Cares Foundation (it helps veterans recover from emotional and physical injuries) who was contacted by Routh's mother to help her son recover from PTSD, as well as Kyle's friend, Chad Littlefield, at a shooting range near Forth Worth Texas. Due to this incident there's a renewed focus on the psychological war wounds. Army Secretary John McHugh has ordered Army officials to lay out detailed plans by February 15 to boost soldiers' "physical, emotional and psychological resilience." "Interventions are not coming as soon as I would like to see them," McHugh told reporters.
Sweet home Alabama?

What did this guy do to the poor fella?!

Minami Minegishi's (AKB48) shame for breaking her group's strict dating ban to spend a night with her boyfriend ended in a shaved head and a VIDEO of it.
"As a senior member of the group, it is my responsibility to be a role model for younger members," she said, before ending the four-minute sobfest with a slight bow.
She shaved her head, a traditional act of contrition in Japan, but perhaps a step too far for a 20-year-old woman whose "crime" was to have found herself a boyfriend – 19-year-old Alan Shirahama, a dancer in a boyband.
The Japanese take everything too seriously.
The members of Pragaash, a Kashmiri word that means "from darkness to light," have been the subject of escalating threats in the past month, including a fatwa from a loal Islamic pirest. The girls, 16-year-old vocalist Noma Nazir, drummer Farah Deeba, and guitarist Aneeka Khalid, both age 15, formed their trio at a music institute where they all took classes after school.
Nazir has officially stated, "We have decided to quit in deference to the decree of the Grand Mufti, who knows religion more than we do," and "I thank all those people who supported our decision to form the band and encouraged us during the last two years."
Years of double digit growth has taken their toll on China and it’s environment. In some cities you’d be lucky to see clear blue skies 10 times a year.
Human remains found buried beneath a social services car park in Leicester are those of Richard III who was killed in battle in 1485, archaeologists confirmed today. In an extraordinary discovery which rewrites the history books, the skeleton of the last of the Plantagenet kings was identified by DNA analysis after researchers traced his living descendants. Investigators from the University of Leicester today revealed that the remains bore the marks of ten injuries inflicted shortly before his death. More gruesome, however, was evidence of ‘humiliation’ injuries, including several head wounds - part of the skull was sliced away - a cut to the ribcage and a pelvic wound likely caused by an upward thrust of a weapon, through the buttock.
She was under pressure to deliver a brilliant performance at Sunday's Super Bowl following the recent lip syncing controversy at President Obama's Inauguration. And Beyonce took to the stage with trademark style, with an all-singing, all-dancing spectacular greatest hits set for the half time show, which culminated in her being joined on stage by Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The 31-year-old singer sported a plunging leather Rubin Singer corset and skirt which she stripped off to reveal a lace underlay during a slick, energetic show packed with special effects at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
In case you have any doubts about Kim's pregnancy, here are some recent photos of her already showing baby bump. Congrats!
The "greatest porn star of all time," Ron Jeremy has been hospitalized for a heart problem. Too many hot chicks? Now recovering from surgery with a respirator and a chest covered in stitches, seems like Ron won't be hitting up the silver screen anytime soon.
IF you want to know more about Ron Jeremy, watch "Boogie Nights," (if not only for the naked scened of sexy Marky Mark) and later "Deep Throat." :))
Americans like to talk about how dangerous it is to live in places like Russia, China, and Mexico as if nothing bad ever happend in their own golden land of fortune. Well, after the last few school shootings, it's about time for Americans to suck it up and realize the problem before them. Kids have access to firearms and it's a growing problem.
Prince Middle School in Atlanta is America's most recent victim, with police arriving at the scene of a 14 year old boy with a gunshot wound to the head.
CBS News reports, "The wounded boy was taken "alert, conscious and breathing" to Grady Memorial Hospital, said Atlanta police spokesman Carlos Campos. Atlanta Public Schools said on their website that the suspect also was a student at Price."
According to multiple sources, "A massive storm system raked the Southeast on Wednesday, generating tornadoes and dangerous winds that flipped cars on a major Georgia interstate, demolished homes and businesses and killed at least two people."
These are still better numbers than those of the passed 50 years in tornadoes. Though the storm came with hardly any warning, it was apparently enough for folks to get the point that they need to flee.
Iran finally got the note about the whole space race thing. Recently they sent this poor creature into space.
Rumor has it that the launch was actually done for military purposes.
The good part is that the rocket came back to earth in fine condition.
Is this a missile or some random experiment?
Have you ever been hacked? Have any nudies on your computer?
This guy really had it down to a science:
Step 1 - Hack into a woman's Facebook, Skype and email accounts.
Step 2 - Change the passwords and lock the victim out of their own accounts. Search emails or other files for naked or semi-naked photos of the victim.
Step 3 - Pose as a friend or lover using personal details from their Facebook profile to persuade them to strip while he watched them on Skype, then capture more images of them.
Step 4 - Blackmail them with the nude photos he had obtained during the Skype chats and force them to send him more nude photos as payment for his silence.
Karen 'Gary' Kazaryan is indicted with 15 counts of computer intrusion and 15 counts of aggravated identity theft for stealing women's nude photos and blackmailing them for more.
Kazaryan was arrested in 2008 for rape, but the case was dropped for lack of evidence. He now faces up to 105 years in prison if he's convicted on all counts related to his "sextortion" scam.
BlackBerry has been struggling to compete in the smartphone race, and has recently announced Alicia Keys as their Global Creative Director, as well as changed the company name from RIM to BlackBerry. Sure things are interesting with her in the picture, and I guess they feel a little cooler, however with the iPhone and Android moving so fast, I wouldn't rely too much on Keys.
Apple is launching an updated version of the iPad, which will have a much larger storage capacity and a Retina display that will increase it's resolution. The new iPad will have 128 (GB) of storage capacity, which is twice of the existing one. Both the Wi-Fi version, which will cost $799 and the Cellular version for $929, will be available in Apple's retail stores this February.
Kim Kardashian flirts with Justin Bieber in Elle Magazine Spread. This is a little strange. Still, for faithful Bieber and Kardashian haters, you'll for sure skip on this. Maybe next time we can arrange a shoot about how lame these two "celebs" are? For now we are stuck with these artistically devoid photographs.
How is it possible to not have noticed WORLD WAR II?! You would have had to be in Russia with this family, living off the land and the sky.
Laughing Squid reports:
In 1978, Russian geologists surveying for minerals in Siberia stumbled upon a family of five that had been living in isolation for more than 40 years. Karp Lykov, the family’s patriarch, had led his family to the remote hillside some 150 miles from the nearest settlement in the 1930s to flee the religious persecution of Soviet authorities (the Lykov’s wereOld Believers, a Russian Orthodox fundamentalist sect). For the next four decades they lived an extremely harsh existence in a crudely built log cabin, subsisting on what little food they could grow, forage, and trap. Two daughters were born in the wilderness but sadly the mother died of starvation in the 50s. After being discovered by the geologists, the Lykovs began dying off due to exposure to disease and decades of malnutrition. Remarkably the sole surviving Lykov, the youngest daughter Agafia, still lives in the Siberian wilderness where she was born. For more on the Lykov family, check out this Russiapedia article and Lost in the Taiga, a Russian language documentary.
After so many cool Androids, and obviously the iPhone came out with apps and other awesome features for organizing your time, calling/texting for free, taking pictures on Instagram and other wonderful things, Blackberry has not advanced at all! What is the point of this phone anymore? Only people stuck in the year 2005 could possibly still think this phone is cool. BUT WAIT! There's a new Blackberry! And wow, big surprise, it looks exactly like an iPhone. Doesn't that just tell you something about the world famous phone? ;)
Over the years, Hulk Hogan and his daughter Brooke have made many cringe with their just-a-little-too-close relationship. (We still can’t get the 2008 image of him rubbing suntan lotion all over her butt out of our heads!) But on Sunday, he really creeped us out when he tweeted a photo of the 25-year-old blonde in a mini dress and high heels with the caption: Brooke's legs
.
London Fashion Week was really all over the place this time. A little bit of everything made the cut to the runway this time, with bold patterned A-line dresses to mesh long sleeves and glitter.
Whether you're feeling bold in blues and whites this season or chilling cool in the corners with a mesh insert maxi dress, you're on trend and ahead of schedule.
