Ex L.A. Cop Is On A Killing Spree!
07 feb 2013 18:24

An ex police officer Christopher Dorner has already killed 3 people, and severely wounded one. He's being hunted by L.A.P.D. He has been fired for falsely accusing another officer of using excessive force in 2008, and seems to be after revenge. "The violence of action will be high. I will bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in LAPD uniform whether on or off duty," Dorner wrote. "The attacks will stop when the department states the truth about my innocence."

Ex Cop Shoots His Ex Colleagues in California
07 feb 2013 17:34

33-year-old Christopher Jordan Dorner, an ex-LAPD officer, is being hunted down for the shooting of more than 3  people, some of whom were law enforcement officers, in the passed week. Rumor has it that this is some kind of retaliation for being fired some 4 years ago. Looks like they were right to fire him!

On Sunday, Dorner killed Keith Lawrence and Monica Quan in Irvine, California, while sitting in a vehicle, authorities say. Quan was the daughter of former LAPD officer Randal Quan, who, it is claimed in the letter, handled Dorner's termination appeal and bungled it.

On Thursday, just after being named as the suspect, Dorner decides to ambush two officers at an intersection in Riverside, California. One officer dies, the other was hospitalized.

New Guinea is Still Burning Witches
07 feb 2013 17:19

A Young New Guinea Woman, Kepari Leniata, Was Accused of Sorcery and Was Burned Alive!

You read that right, she was burned to death.

20 year-old mother, Kepari Leniata was stripped, tied up with rope, rubbish and old tires tossed on top of her, then lit afire; burned alive! Onlookers watched and photographed the public execution, as if it was something to pop into their family photo  albums as a fond memory.

Kepari Leniata was accused of sorcery by the relatives of a six-year-old boy, who recently died in a hospital under unclear circumstances. These were also the people who chose to take the law into their own hands, and bury the poor woman. Oddly enough, the persecutors were also able to gain support from local citizens, who agreed with what they were doing, and even blocked firefighters who had raced to the scene to put out the blaze. Children and families gathered to watch the cruel murder of Leniata, snapping photos and video footage with their mobile devices.

China Prays for Fresh Air
07 feb 2013 17:13

Air pollution in China has gotten so bad lately that one entrepreneurial environmentalist's wacky idea for a solution doesn't seem all that far-fetched: putting clean air in a can.

When a thick gray haze blanketed Beijing and several other nearby Chinese cities last week, sending kids to the hospitalgrounding planes, and causing the government to order cars off the road, Chen Guangbiao hit the streets of Beijing to hand out yellow and green cans of smog-free, non-carcinogenic air. "Free fresh air. Open it and drink it and breathe it!" the Guardian quoted the multimillionaire and national celeb as saying. "It keeps you fresh the whole day!"

China is officially overdue for a "clean air act" of their own.

Record has it that the smog in China was in fact, so bad  that you can see it from space. From space!

Intense Battle Scenes From Damascus
07 feb 2013 10:09
Reuters photographer Goran Tomasevic returned to Syria earlier this month, where he has been traveling the war-torn streets of Damascus with the Free Syrian Army. His past 24 hours were especially harrowing, as he accompanied an FSA group on an attack mission. Tomasevic captured the scene as one rebel was shot and killed in front of him by a government sniper. Just an hour later, he managed to keep taking photos as a tank shell slammed into a wall just above him and a group of fighters, sending chunks of plaster and concrete onto their heads. These images bring home with power and immediacy the frightening reality of Syria's urban warfare -- this all happened just yesterday -- but they offer just a few glimpses of this long, bloody uprising.

Japanese Pop Star Apologizes for Having a Boyfriend
05 feb 2013 17:00

Minami Minegishi's (AKB48) shame for breaking her group's strict dating ban to spend a night with her boyfriend ended in a shaved head and a VIDEO of it.

"As a senior member of the group, it is my responsibility to be a role model for younger members," she said, before ending the four-minute sobfest with a slight bow.

She shaved her head, a traditional act of contrition in Japan, but perhaps a step too far for a 20-year-old woman whose "crime" was to have found herself a boyfriend – 19-year-old Alan Shirahama, a dancer in a boyband.

The Japanese take everything too seriously.

Richard III body has been found under a car park in Leicester
04 feb 2013 10:43

Human remains found buried beneath a social services car park in Leicester are those of Richard III who was killed in battle in 1485, archaeologists confirmed today. In an extraordinary discovery which rewrites the history books, the skeleton of the last of the Plantagenet kings was identified by DNA analysis after researchers traced his living descendants. Investigators from the University of Leicester today revealed that the remains bore the marks of ten injuries inflicted shortly before his death. More gruesome, however, was evidence of ‘humiliation’ injuries, including several head wounds - part of the skull was sliced away - a cut to the ribcage and a pelvic wound likely caused by an upward thrust of a weapon, through the buttock.
